Paraty hotels near Cathedral Park

Pros: The hotel is good. New furniture, new bathroom, good breakfast, but the location is really bad. Far away from the city center of the old town. You need to walk in not a very nice neighbourhood, dark and bad sidewalks. I changed pousadas (hotel) after the first night as I wanted to be close to the city.

Pros: Everyone was very friendly and willing to help us out with ideas for our days.

Pros: The staff at the front desk is very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast is excellent.

Pros: The room was big and comfortable, and the hammock on the terrace was really nice!

Pros: The decoration in the hotel make us feel like in a small farm and very relax. The owner of the hotel is a really nice guy. He gave us all the inforamtion we needed the day we arrived. And when I was serious sick, he drive us to the hosipital and found the doctor. And he even stayed there to help translate between doctor and us.

Pros: The buildings/bungalows lie amid a beautiful tropical garden. The employees were very friendly and helpful with tour bookings. The pool area is small and just fine to cool down and for children to enjoy. The breakfast area is an open covered terrace area from which you can enjoy the garden view. The breakfast choice is simple but wide. The pousada including the rooms are nicely decorated with the typical brazilian handicrafts. The rooms are spacious with a small bathroom. Everything is very well maintained and clean. The pousada lies about 600 meters away from the center of Paraty. The walk to the center is along a small river along on a newly laid out parklike pedestrian way that is elumianted during the night. For us it was a perfect stay

Pros: Basic accommodation that is reasonably priced for Paraty. It is a family owned Pousada and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were great - we loved the fruit, yogurt, breads and cakes.

Pros: The area was very peaceful and there was a lot of greenery around. The common areas had some great old furniture. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was good.

Pros: We appreciated the location in the nature of the pousada, its space and numerous varieties of exotic plants & flowers it s a beautiful place, we were satisfied of the availability of the person who welcomed us and helped in our requests and was the only one to speak english - very important point - for foreigners! I regreted the absence of a computer with internet for the clients

Pros: Very friendly owners and staff, great location, just 1,5km from the city centre. Nice rooms, excellent breakfast, nice little garden and pool to relax, quiet at night. I recomment this pousada 100%!
