Pros: Hedon Spa & Hotel has a really cozy atmosphere and nice spa. I liked the room, it was spacious and clean. Altought there was many people the room was really quiet so we slept for 10 hours.The spa with quiet spa was really nice.

Cons: Room service was hidious. We had to use room service, because restaurant was fully booked. We are a family of three grow-up eaters and an infant. We ordered three burgers. First one arrived after 30mins. Next one 20 mins after that and, finally, last one, in another 20mins. It was my husbands birthday night dinner. We certainly did not plan for it to go like this. When asking for dessert, we were suggested to wait for 20more mins and then order. Hotel charges extra 20 EUR for room service on any order.

Cons: In the room was coffee machine, but no coffee capsules(we have asked at reception and they gave us 4 :), also, there was only one toothbrush in the room for 2.. And there was no safe in the room.. But in the room description it was mentioned. I have asked about swimming pool working hours on 01.01. and received written reply that it will be opened from 07:00!! But it was closed!

Pros: Water park is great. Slides were fun. Kids will love it. Also you can use park for 3 hours free of charge in day of your check out. Free parking. Hotel located near seaside. So if pleasant weather - go for a walk. We had a suite room - it was spacious. Also sauna was in room.

Pros: The SPa centre is amazing We changed the rooms, and the first one was freshly refurnished while the second was old.
Cons: The member of the staff Victoria on the reception, whilst checking us in was continuously answering questions of another guest, who was being checked in by Victorias colleague next to us. We were not informed prior to our stay, that since it was Christmas, the a la carte restaurant was closed and the buffet was Sold out. We were never offered a chance to buy the place in buffet (though the property send me 3 emails about the bed, but nothing about the food). When I asked Victoria about that, she said "you shoud have checked the website". I did check afterwards, and you had to specifically look for the schedule to find it. There were only two sets of towels (big and small towel) in the room, though there were 3 of us who checked in. When i asked for the additional towel, I was only given one big. The breakfast was not as rich as you could expect from this type of hotel. Since on the day of check in the spa was closing at 6, we decided to go to the spa on the departure day after check out. and since you have checked out, even though you get a 3 hours spa acess ticket for free, we had to pay 3 euro per towel for rent (in contrast to when you actually stay in the hotel, you get it for free).

Cons: Staff was not friendly (except at reception when we were checking in), not smiling, not willing to explain some details in English (or may be in Russian), English language from staff was below expected in that kind of hotel. Trainers in group trainings (I attended 2) spoke only in Estonian, there was not notice about that, very confusing because trainers were speaking a lot. Showers and baths in aquapark in the evening was very dirty - needs more often to be cleaned. Minor things - long wait for elevator, hairdryer not enough powerful and pillows were too big.

Cons: The only "spoon of tar in a barrel with honey" was behaviour of group of people, who lived at the same floor in the hotel: they didn´t keep any "nigtpeace" rules and make noise, laugh and run in the hallway late at nigt. And as there is quite poor sound insulation in the rooms, our nigt sleep was totally interrupted.

Cons: - Room was not clean. Floor was sticky. On balcony there was a plastic glass with cigarette butts. - Towels were only for two people, room was for 4 people. Staff provided more after a request. Also note, you have to use towels from room in water park. - There was no pillows/blankets for second bed. We discovered that during late night. Had to call reception. - Breakfast had ok selection, but cannot say it was tasty. - Very long wait in line to get drinks at waterpark bar. Service was slow and would require some optimization in service.

Cons: If you expect 4 star hotel service you will be very disappointed. The double room № 312, was very difficult to find, it is located near President suite door aside of all other rooms. When I went inside I was shocked: small 10m2 double room, with short bed 1.40m near the wall. Wooden door as in a village, not sound proof, probably the room is for the Mr.President bodyguard with a dog. Imagine - winter, snow on the street - and you have a cold room and icy floor Without heating facility! Also no air condition for possible heating. Calling the reception - girl offers me to bring the heating fan! 4 STAR HOTEL!!! At 22:00 it was very funny offer. I come back to reception and returned the keys. (under the ceiling above the reception was nice spiderweb:). Friendly girl says she is just a trainee and don't know all the rooms. Finally I got another room, warm and spacious, thanks to her. Maybe she is already fired for this:) I found more review from other people got the same motel-style room, which IMHO must be provided only as last room in a hotel in emergency situations. In my case half of the hotel was empty. Very often in Europe (also in Latvia) I got the higher level room at the check-in just because of lot of free rooms and hotel hospitality. PS. Cons: 1. Very bad smell coming from bathroom that filled the room, not a very nice first impression. We had to change rooms 3 times because of it. 2. Because of the smell the third room to which a cleaning lady was supposed to go to to take care of the smell before we would go there, she had the windows open wide for a period of time before our arrival so the room was freezing cold when we got there. 3. The small portable kettle in the 3rd room was filled with scale, floors were very dirty as well. 4. Our TV didn’t properly switch off when turning it off with the remote. First a grey screen was displayed for a period of time and then creepy blueish screens appeared suddenly for multiple times which lit up the completely pitch black room- thus scaring me and my partner a lot. 5. We were assured the stink thing was a problem in all Pärnu hotels, although I could find no reviews about anybody complaining about this elsewhere :/ Only in Strand, and may times previously as well. 6. The breakfast was way below what we expected from a 4 star hotel. The scrambled eggs tasted bland, the porridge on both mornings was horrible- very watery, tasteless, had a slimy texture. The bacon was fried black and it was hard to chew on on the first day- the next day it was undercooked. The foods didn’t look appealing whatsoever. 7. The pictures of the spa are misleading. It is a lot smaller than what it seems, only one steam sauna in the public area, Finnish sauna was in the men-female separated shower area so me and my girlfriend couldn’t enjoy it together. Lots of screaming kids for a small area. The jacuzzi was always crowded, since it only fits 8 people. No relaxations whatsoever. 8. We had a cleaning lady come in our room in the first morning, although the table was still left dirty. What’s weirder is that we saw her go over the table with a mop. She didn’t do her work properly.

Cons: We strongly believe that the staff stole from our room. I left some stuff in the room after check out, but almost immediately realized it and turned back. Some of my belongings I got back but the most valuable thing I didn't. I thought that I had just packed it very well in my bags but I didnt find it anymore, when I checked later. It couldnt have gotten lost over night. This was very unfortunate and because of this I wouldnt recommend this hostel!

Pros: Very interesting historical house
Cons: Very cold rooms, extremly uncomfortable bed!!!! Room nr 10, near balcony, where hotel guest smoking :) All looks like very tired, badly need upgrade

Pros: Location, breakfast was quite ok.
Cons: That hotel need very big renovation. We was living on the 3d floor and there was a smell of the kitchen. Bathroom equipment was quite old and not on good conditions. The same was with shower. They need to change the bed on that room too.

Pros: Very nice building, cozy first floor restaurant, delicious breakfast, nice staff, comfortable bed and clean sheets, perfect location
Cons: Rooms need to be refurbished, old towels must be replaced. Rooms has creaky floor and bathroom need renovation asap, there was no hair dryer in bathroom.
