Pros (+) The location was perfect for walking to multiple destinations--US Open shuttles, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row. We brought our bikes and cycled down the coast to 17-mile drive (which was closed due to the golf tourney.) There were bike lanes most of the way with multiple stops for amazing vistas. The people at the front desk were very nice and check-in/check-out was a breeze.
Cons (-) The rooms were stuffy with poor circulation. We had to run both fans (ceiling and floor) the entire stay, even though a marine layer moved in and dropped the temps. Also, the walls and floors are poorly soundproofed so we heard a lot of noise above us (we were on the 2nd floor) and outside the window.

Pros (+) The bed was actually comfortable, and the view of the beach is pretty amazing.
Cons (-) You get charged the price of your stay twice, the water in the shower never got hot, the sheets were damp, water stays in the bottom of the shower. This is basically a run down motel with a nice view, everything looks like it’s from the 80’s 90’s. If you have a low profile car good luck finding parking as most the front parking is taken up so they send you to their underground lot, we ended up par...

Pros (+) Bed was comfortable and TV worked. Location was also ok.
Cons (-) Where to start. Parking was a nightmare. You aren't guaranteed a spot outside or in the garage. They said that street parking is allowed until 11am, however, it's first come first serve and there is a restaurant across the street, making it even harder to find parking at a reasonable time. Pros (+) Other than location, not much to like about this property, although couldn't really see water from the property
Cons (-) Room old & dirty. TV didn't work. No roof top access. Lots of boarded up rooms. Not a good experience.

Pros (+) Location was perfect and Juliana was absolutely wonderful! She was so helpful and funny, she even recommended a fabulous restaurant across the street for us and gave us a free appetizer. Beds were comfortable, there were no noises or anything, and breakfast was basic but good. Can't go wrong!
Cons (-) Parking garage was only open on one end and turning around in there was challenging.
