Pros: The hotel has a modern interior but a historical exterior and the ( free) parking is in a nicely arched interior courtyard. Our room looked out onto the Loire, which was lovely, although a busy road is directly outside. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was a buffet with a wide choice of food, including bacon and eggs. It is only a 15/20 minute walk into the town centre.
Cons: It's not a very nice walk into the town centre, along a busy road, although it is by the Loire. There was no bath, only a shower which wasn't very powerful. The breakfast, although very nice, was expensive at 12 euros a person.

Cons: The room was boiling hot during the night in October then we left the window open and it was very noisy.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Right on the bank of the Loire. It's also next to a busy road but the room was well insulated against the noise. Busy road means easy access. It was also within 15 minutes of easy walk to the centre, a lovely walk along the river and the Galeries Royales. Rooms are clean, big enough, and comfortable. The toilet is separate from the bathroom.
Cons: We didn't take breakfast because it was rather pricey.

Pros: the location
Cons: I've stayed this place few times now but it's always something missing every time I stayed. (ie, the soap wasn't there in last time, this time there was no milk for coffee and not able to watch TV.) Also they don't top up the coffee/tea for 2nd day. The staff is lazy to issue the receipt.

Pros: Everything was clean and the self catering facilities were great. We arrived early but the staff were very helpful and allowed us to put our bags in a safe place. The parking was extra but well worth it as it was secure and within view of our room. The staff spoke very good English which is good as our French is terrible. The soundproofing in the room was excellent. Would definitely stay there again.
Cons: Was not sure how to work the heating thermostat. Hotel WiFi very weak.

Pros: We were initially given a room that had not been cleaned properly and had someone else's clothes in the cupboard, however the man on reception was very helpful and gave us another room.
Cons: A clean room from the start would have been nice.

Pros: Cheap. Walking distance around 15 to 20 minutes to the cathedral. Convenient location. Twin beds easily available.
Cons: The bedsheets under the duvet at the end of the bed had a huge yellow round stain. I did not see this when I slept in the bed only in the morning. The toilet seat also had two permanent scratched scars/stains. And the toilet itself had yellow stains. The little lock of the door is a bit flimsy and hard to use.
