8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was nice and clean. Classic style. Rooms are small but very comfortable. Good shower. The staff was helpful and found a way as we were going to arrive a bit late. I would recommend this place.
Cons: Take in consideration that there is nobody at the hotel during afternoon (12pm-3pm), so if you need to leave your luggage or even were planing to stay at the lobby using the internet after check out is not possible. A part of it, is a nice place to be.
7,9 Good
Pros: A characterful hotel close to a shopping mall. However, no noise, no degradation of character, a special place. Owners were very nice, good to talk to, very welcoming: ten out of ten. There was enough parking space for all the guests. Setting of the hotel is nice as it has a large garden with tables and chairs.
Cons: Bedroom and bathroom were smallish. However the bed was comfortable. Access to the property is tight, the gate is small, but all the guests manage to get in and out and so did we.

Cons: In the morning we could hear the noise from other rooms, but it was not a big problem as we were also waking up. Info about things to visit in the city/ how to get to the castles from the lady on the front desk would have been nice (we just got a small map from orleans)

Cons: The hotel location. The room can have a new design and furniture.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I always love the breakfasts in the Hotel Mercure chain. The location was fine although it was a little walk to the centre but after a drive in the car, for me, that does not matter. There was plenty of on site car parking. The lobby was fairly spacious and it was easy to get a drink in the bar. My dinner was adequate.
Cons: A more extensive French dinner menu would have been nice.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful
Cons: Nothing
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant location, a nice walk along the river to the centre of town.
Cons: We were pleased at the late checkout time (midday) but not pleased by housekeeping waking us all up at 08.45 trying to get in to clean! A bit on the expensive side too.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant was excellent, food was good and the wine was very good. Room was comfortable, shower was a good one and temperature easy to control. Breakfast was also very good, 17 euro sounds a lot of money but with what you can have it is good value. Staff very helpful.
Cons: Finding the entry to the hotel was not the easiest, this in part may have been due to the GPS in the hire car.
7,1 Good
Pros: Handy to the town easy walking distance. Very friendly staff. Good carparking.
Cons: The breakfast was expensive for what we got. Very limited choice of beers in the bar . There was also a stale water smell in the room. We were only there for one night so tolerated .
8,5 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and quite newly refurbished. Free coffee in lobby and free wifi. Very clean toilets. Great buffet breakfast. Easy to find location and parking was easy. Feels a bit like a Hilton. Price was good too.
Cons: Staffing was 3-4 star. Receptionist very friendly and helpful. Staff for dinner and breakfast were nice but not highly professional to match the looks of the hotel. Bar tender was rude and closed bar early.

Pros: Really clean rooms, friendly staff, great location.
Cons: The shower hose holder was broken so a little difficult to shower, not a deal breaker.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I appreciated this hotel given its location and room's comfort - it's a perfect solid oldy - with normal light switches) I had a room with a bath and a double bed, all was fine.
Cons: I do not have any real critique, maybe my usual problem with French hotels - the breakfast is mostly sweet staff (of good quality), but it also had bagette and cheese, so me missing some bacon was not a problem).
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location and parking were perfect

9,0 Excellent
Cons: Short staffed on reception
7,1 Good
Pros: Location was as expected. Room was we have expected with upgrades to the bathroom facilities. Car parking was as usual good.
Cons: The new system of checking and out was very disappointing, consequently there no welcome. The E 100 deposit upon arrival was unexpected and impersonnel. Th dinner was OK but not as good as on previous occasions. We set the dinner cost against the E100 and hope the remainder is credited to us!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: comfortable beds, nice room and shower. Good place to bring your dogs, you can walk them in the small wooded park behind the hotel. There is no reception anymore, so it was a bit confusing where to go, but the friendly staff soon came to do the check in. New concept......but it worked out fine.
7,5 Good
Pros: Check in staff, good, smily and helpfull.
Cons: Breakfast was not fulfilled as our expectations for a french 4 star hotel. t must be an international continental buffet, after 9 am, the staff did not fill up the breads, so if you are late you miss the breads, the cheese and the croissants.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location for us was excellent as we were looking for as place near friends and family. The hosts, Christos and Eleni, were there on arrival, welcoming us with a basketfull of great local specialities and very helpful advice. The house is just beautiful, spotlessly clean with large rooms and shady terraces and beautifully furnished. The garden with grill place and pizza oven, plenty of toys for young children, comfortable garden furniture (those canopied day beds!) and that marvelous pool were all one could wish for. The ground are lit at night and gated. All is just as on the photos advertised on booking. com. We had a very nice stay, went home fully rested. A place to be recommended! Wouldn't mind coming back one day! P.S. We were even presented a goodbye gift of local thyme honey and tea. Much appreciated.
Cons: Just one small point it would have been nice to have a shower in the master bedroom, which has an en-suite toilet/sink. But it didn't really matter with a big family bathroom nearby and other showers in the house and an outside one too.
7,5 Good
Pros: Plenty of parking on site and a warm welcome from the Staff.. There is not a traditional receptionist here and the check in was done swiftly and well via hand held device ! The room was a reasonable size with a good sized bed and a massive super HD TV !! There is a free bottle of water and tea / coffee making facilities. Check out was equally rapid. Despite my comments below I'd stay here again - it was a decent job overall.
Cons: I find that having the toilet (no hand basin) separate from the bathroom is annoying and weird. The restaurant menu is a little limited and our pad thai was a bit bland -
6,3 Good
Cons: This is No Novotel standard, Carpet dirty Wall ugly not comfortable
7,1 Good
Pros: Spacious rooms
Cons: Staff not very welcoming
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Always very efficient and so convenient

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location to the centre of town couldn't have been better, and the room was immaculate.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like about the hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Old school charm. Good buffet breakfast. Clean efficient value for money with a touch of elegance.
7,1 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel was great. It was only a few minute walk to the center of town. The room size was ok too, and it was quiet enough for us to sleep as well.
Cons: I didn't like the fact that I had to constantly wait for someone at the front desk. Each time, we needed something or when we checked out or in, there was no one at the desk and we had to wait til they came down the stairs. Also, whenever I needed to go down to my car, I had to wait for the front desk person to "let" me go down to my car by putting a key in the elevator. I felt like that was a bit annoying.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Service was impeccable, guy couldn't do enough. Recommended restaurants and was superb tbh. Dont be fooled by the outside look, inside is neat clean tidy and comfy, you get what you pay for. Just right for a short stay we thought
Cons: Cant do anything about views here, nothing to not like as nothing to moan about really, short walk to the centre but through all the shops etc so was fine
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Quirky lifts
Cons: Bathroom decoration a little dated
4,2 Okay
Pros: Almost impossible to find this hotel, it’s obscured in almost every way possible, even with Sat Nav. It would be impossible at night. The staff are very friendly and no doubt the reason why this hotel rates even a mention.
Cons: It was WWII standard wallpapered bedroom, dirty, grime on any skirting boards that existed. Way over priced for what it actually is, a hotel in need of major modernisation and a thorough clean.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful receptionist. Quiet room. Just a quick walk from the town centre.
Cons: Wallpaper should be renewed!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hospitable staff The room was clean

7,1 Good
Pros: Bedrooms small and basic, but clean. Outstanding breakfast!! Big Fresh croissants, excellent bacon and eggs! Also a v good Chinese restaurant next door ....
Cons: Small bedrooms. Also my son lost his toothbrush and reception didn’t have any replacements, basic requirement at a hotel?

3,8 Mediocre

Pros: The bed was very comfy and large. Room nicely decorated
Cons: We checked in late and the receptionist was not very helpful
6,2 Good
Pros: Good room. Clean
Cons: Common areas looking old, smelling dirty. Old carpet. Elevator filthy

Pros: Large comfortable bed. Very strong shower. Breakfast.
Cons: Smallish room for 2 people (but OK). Very Franco-French choice of channels; lots of sport but no Euronews or BBC World for news.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room was modern clean and comfy great for our family
6,7 Good
Pros: Beds very comfortable. Air conditioning efficient but noisy part installed at present. The car park is reasonably secure and plenty of space. Also free.
Cons: We were told the restaurant was closed as there was no chef at the weekend. However, when we returned after eating away from the hotel a large party of French people were having dinner. There was limited choice at breakfast considering the cost was €12 each. The hotel is located way from restaurants apart from the creperie about a 10 minute easy walk away (which we can recommend). The hotel seems to be in a state of renovation. The bathroom was nice enough but there is no door on the shower which means the floor becomes flooded.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The receptionist was very welcoming, and flexible. The bakery in front of the hotel.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: The hotel is really traditional and quirky. It was very clean and in a great location for seeing the town. The staff were very helpful and we were able to change our booking easily to accommodate an extra person.
Cons: No problems

Cons: Narrow staircase and creaky floors. You can hear the other guests from your room.

Pros: Very charming hotel with old fashioned furniture. It still maintains a lot of the original features of the beginning of the 20th century. Nice rooms very well decorated.
Cons: The lack of an elevator could be a problem for someone.

Pros: Location
Cons: The reserved car parking. We went as directed, gate opened and we parked. Next day it would appear we were in wrong area. My car had been shunted. 300 euro approx in damages. Car park poorly sign posted.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great.
Cons: 2 staff members were not helpful.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast. Not too far to walk to the cathedral and the old town. Parking nearby at a reasonable price
Cons: We booked the special deal 2 course meal but would not recommend it not much choice. The main menu was fine.
5,8 Okay
Pros: This hotel is good as a transit hotel, I can’t imagine staying more than one night here... it has no personality, nothing special... The room was quite small, but clean. The good part was that the hotel offered us a discount for the parking located in its proximity.
Cons: Small room with no personality.
7,1 Good
Pros: Good value, close to town, clean
Cons: It was a bit of a problem that we wanted to keep our bikes in the room with us. They have a garage but we were uncomfortable leaving our bikes there in a big city.

Pros: Clean and neat, staff friendly. Close to Railway station; Old Quarter, and Cathedrale Saint Croix - well worth seeing - truly beautiful stained glass windows, wonderful bas relief stone sculptures of the Stations of the Cross.
Cons: Rooms were fine, but no space for suitcase easily. Shower stall rather tiny only 32" square, difficult to enter.

Pros: Good location but...
Cons: ...access by car not easy and parking difficult.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The hotel is located in walking distance to the centre of the city.
Cons: Despite the official announcement that all rooms are non-smoking ones, our room strongly smelt after cigarettes. That is why I asked reception for the change of the room as my wife has alergy on smoke from cigarettes but I didn' t receive any help. We had to have the window open the whole night but noise from the trams was bothering us. We were also not satisfíed with the way the rooms were cleaned up (mainly carpets).
5,0 Okay
Cons: I was in room 405 it stank of smoke , I was badly bitten during the night and when i came to leave the hotel there was no one on reception on reception to open the locked door, result i missed my train. Don't bother.
6,3 Good
Pros: Location was good near the station.
Cons: Smelt strongly of stale smoke. Bath had a hole caused by a cigarette burn.
5,0 Okay
Pros: the location
Cons: I've stayed this place few times now but it's always something missing every time I stayed. (ie, the soap wasn't there in last time, this time there was no milk for coffee and not able to watch TV.) Also they don't top up the coffee/tea for 2nd day. The staff is lazy to issue the receipt.

Pros: Cheap. Walking distance around 15 to 20 minutes to the cathedral. Convenient location. Twin beds easily available.
Cons: The bedsheets under the duvet at the end of the bed had a huge yellow round stain. I did not see this when I slept in the bed only in the morning. The toilet seat also had two permanent scratched scars/stains. And the toilet itself had yellow stains. The little lock of the door is a bit flimsy and hard to use.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Price location calm space
Cons: Kitchen sponge smelly
7,9 Good
Pros: Good value for the price you pay
Cons: It was not possible to manage the temperature of the room (not sure if the air conditioning system was working) and also the freezer was making too much noises.
5,4 Okay
Pros: The room and bathroom was large enough and it was nice and quiet. The hotel has a good location, you are just a few minutes away from the station and the city. The check-in was fast and easy as well.
Cons: The staff does not speak english well and were even a little rude sometimes. I needed to have breakfast early (6.30), but did not get to have breakfast because the girl in charge did not speak or understand any english and told me to wait for the reception to open at 7. Then at check-out, the receptionist decided it would be fun to play fetch with me using the receipt I asked for. Not very professional behaviour. Additionally, our room was not cleaned at all during our stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location overall comfort and breakfast were spot on for an overnight stop. Good value for money
