Pros: The location is excellent in the old town, the room was large and overlooking the water. The staff could not have been nicer and the breakfast was excellent.
Cons: For a 4 * hotel I would have expected an elevator and a larger bathroom, mine was really small with a small stall shower and they didn't provide Kleenex? And for some reason the hotel has a firewall that blocks a service I use to stay up to date with news, etc. called Slingbox? Of the 5 hotels I used in Croatia on this trip this was the only one where I had that problem so don't stay here if you need Slingbox!! Other sites worked fine so I have no idea why they were blocking this.
Pros: Personalized recommendations from the concierge that made for an exceptional experience.
Pros: We loved the hotel. The personal was extremly friendly. We felt like kings.
Pros: The staff were very helpful and attentive. They definitely added to the hotel's charm.
Cons: The hotel needs better upkeep.
Pros: Great location, tastefully modernised historic hotel with very helpful staff.

Pros: Great place with a beautiful view of Korcula and a great pool! Very good breakfast as well. 10 min walk to ferry port.
Cons: Pool was kind of cold, but it was mid October. We weren't expecting bath tub warm pools, so we weren't too bothered by this!
Pros: Fantastic choice of foods at breakfast
Cons: Cant think of anything
Pros: Everything else
Cons: Bar closed at 10pm. Rather early for an hotel.
Pros: We loved this hotel - it was an oasis in this area of Korcula. The breakfast choice was outstanding - ready made omelettes, spicy sausage, spinach pies, endless fruit options, yoghurt, amazing tasty pastries, cheeses, salad...everything was plentiful. The coffee was horrendous from a machine. Such a shame! Fresh coffee could be ordered from the outside bar area. The rooms are lovely and sea views just delightful. Ivana, Teo and Monica on receptions all helped us tremendously, such friendly, capable staff. We had a fabulous room with back and front balconies and steps up to our bedroom with a lounge area downstairs. Would highly recommend. We preferred to walk to town each night for a huge array of restaurants. Struck me how expensive wine is in this town - a small glass for 90 kuna on the front - £10. This is even expensive at London prices. Not much shocks me but the wine prices did. No nibbles served with the wine either! Come on Croatia, stop being so greedy. Where is your Italian side. Elsewhere in the back streets we found more reasonable carafes.
Cons: Coffee in the hotel
Pros: Probably the best modern hotel in Korcula. Nice interior, nice outdoor pool.
Cons: Uncomfortable bed, breakfasts were not great, no proper cleaning of the room, no tea/coffee supply in the room. The hotel should reconsider its smoking policy. The hotel encourages smoking on balconies putting an ashtray on a balcony table.
Pros: The view from my balcony was amazing! They gave me a free upgrade upon arrival too. The buffet at breakfast was a great spread, and the staff were very accommodating. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had good pressure.
Pros: Everything Very nice luxury design accomodation Excellent location Great breakfast Room with sight on city of Korcula Excellent for relax holidays
Pros: Breakfast we amazing - so many choices of hot and cold food.
Cons: Nothing really - they upgraded our room and we looked out at the sea and the walls of Korcula.

Pros: Located on beachfront with beautiful views. Was upgraded to a family room very nice gesture. Also as our ferry was not leaving until late on the evening of checkout the staff kindly let us keep our room for the day. Breakfast good with a good variety of choice. Room nice, comfortable & clean. Infinity pool area lovely, very relaxing. Supermarket located beside hotel.
Cons: Located in a secluded area and due to time of year we visited alot of restaurants and shops in resort were closed. About 25-30 min walk from port however was accessible by taxi boat which cost 15kn pp.
Pros: Everything, had my wedding here:)
Pros: Very pleasant staff. I appreciated the pick up at the port and hopefully the return journey.
Pros: Very good breakfast buffet,, The water taxi to town Great views of the water from the property. Supermarket across the street.
Cons: Dinner buffet was basic but good value.
Pros: Nice apartment. Close to old city. Free parking. Nice breakfast
Pros: The resort is beautiful and we are lucky to upgrade room and room is very clean and breakfast is delicious and only problem is that we have to walk 30 mins with luggage to arrive the hotel.
Cons: pick up service from port.
Pros: The location was perfect, within walking distance to Sunset Beach, coastal walks, restaurants. Bus connection around the corner that goes straight to Old Town.
Pros: Our room was very nice - we had booked the Superior Double Room with Balcony
Cons: we had to carry our suitcases around the property - we do not recommend taking the taxi boat with luggage, the hotel does not have any facilities to help with the suitcases
Pros: Good hotel-style room, very comfortable, and with complimentary sweet snacks and water. Extensive and delicious buffet breakfast. Infinity pool was fantastic and heaps of sun loungers. Good quiet location but still quite close to the town via a nice walk along the waterfront
Cons: Restaurant was quite crowded at times for breakfast. The complex was much bigger than we expected from what we saw online and had a bit of a 'holiday camp' feel to it, rather than a 'hotel feel'.
Pros: The room was fantastic - clean, modern, comfortable beds, shower & bath, air con, plenty of towels/toiletries, free WiFi. Other facilities were good, the pools are a bit on the small side, given the amount of sun loungers available. Reception staff were great, really helpful and knowledgeable.
Cons: The prices at the bars & restaurants were not cheap, even for basic things and (like much of Croatia) the coffee wasn't good.
Cons: Tennis courts were a discrace and we had to pay to use them.
Pros: We get used to the miscomfort of the beds... (by the way, 2 x 1 single bed isn't a double bed, even if they are next to each other, especially if you've got different sheets!)
Cons: the breakfast was terrible, staff was rude, the pool could be good if it was not full of chavs washing their hair in it...Nothing good to say about this hotel, don't go there and instead look for appartments on the web as it is the best option in Korcula !
Pros: Apart from the friendly staff, there wasn't much I did like about this hotel unfortunately.
Cons: This hotel is not in a good condition. Yes, the rooms are clean, but the entire resort is run-down & in need of renovation. The breakfast buffet was poor. The location is too far outside Korcula town also, and though there is a boat taxi that comes to the hotel, it is irregular & can't be relied on. This means car taxis in to Korcula town, to have a nice meal and do the sights.
Cons: The matresses were saggy, the pillows were lumpy, the decor was outdated. There was no fan, AC or TV. The rooms were noisy. At 90 euro a night this was not value for money.
Pros: The water taxi brought you into the town
Cons: No air conditioning in our room
Pros: The water taxi to Korcula Town
Cons: The breakfast was dreadful - covered in wasps and minimal choice, the rooms were stiffling hot, loud music till late and surly staff.
Pros: The location was nice - on the bay and getting a taxi boat to the town of Korcula
Cons: It was expensive for this type of hotel. It was very noisy as there was a loud bar near our room and children running around the corridors screaming late at night. The food was very basic and it is quite far from town
Pros: Great location for exploring the area, ok to stay for a few days.
Cons: It was expensive for the quality of the hotel, for example, no cutlery/tables available at breakfast. Plug hole was blocked in the shower and then no plug for the bathroom sink?!
Cons: The room here was grossly over-priced. It was obviously not in the remodeled part of the hotel and had no air conditioning (I was told none of the rooms did) which required leaving the window open at night to the noise of people passing by. The hotel staff at check-in were not friendly. Also the location was very inconvenient to the main town requiring a relatively expensive taxi each direction, certainly not within a reasonable walk. Breakfast was rather poor.

Pros: We loved everything about this hotel! The welcome we received from the staff when we arrived..dragging our suit cases up the hill.(We needed the exercise) The view from our room down over the waterfront was stunning. The gorgeous pool, spa and gym (no we didn’t use that; but needed to) The food served in the restaurant was up with the best we had while in Europe. The breakfast buffet was the best! The bar and it’s indoor and outdoor lounges was very comfortable. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. All of the guests we spoke to were impressed with the service. We would most definitely stay at this hotel again. It was a beautiful stay, at a very beautiful Island.
Pros: Lovely pool area. The hotel is a short work to the town. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast choice. We loved Korcula and will definitely return.
Cons: No information about the local area.
Pros: the pool area the breakfast ,the room was very clean beds comfy
Cons: def needed updating ,the room was quite old fashioned ,the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor
Pros: Everything, stunning location, beautiful views, good breakfast and great pizza! Perfect for our two day stay in Korcula
Pros: The breakfast was good, dinner too.
Cons: The bathroom was quite stinky when we checked in already, there was some smell coming from the drain or something. We asked the cleaning lady to extra cleaned it but next day the smell comes back again. I think the hotel definitely need to update the bathroom! I didn't feel like the room was so particularl clean either...dusty. And the outdoor swimming pool was ice cold, indoor swimming pool was broken. If I'd have known that, I wouldn't stayed here. Even the Adriatic sea was warmer in the day. Definitely not worth the price.
Pros: Good location, a short stroll down into the Old Town.
Cons: Its a large resort style hotel so not really my cup of tea. The buffet style canteen is fine for breakfast but the evening meals although very cheap weren't very good. Also the shower in the bathroom was disappointing compared to the quality and size of the bedroom suite.
Welcome to Maria's Place, in the old downtown, next to Marco Polo street, the main cathedral and situated at the heart of the Korcula Town. Maria's Place hotel offers ensuite double rooms. Facilities include free linen, towels, cleaning, WIFI, use of A/C and heating. No extra fee for tourist tax. Shown price is for two people. No bed & breakfast for this unit. We hope you'll choose Maria's Place while visiting the Island of Korcula, and we wish you a really good, long and unforgettable holidays. Yours sincerely, Maria with family
Pros: We did't get to meet the host, it was hard to find the place. The room was very basic.
Cons: I prefer to meet a host when I stay in a place. I felt a bit insecure when I arrived at the property.
Pros: Value for money
Cons: lack of sunshine
Pros: The location of Marie's is great as well as the comfort of the room. The bed was a little soft for me but then again I love a very hard bed. The location was fantastic! You are right in the middle of everything. Room is clean and they let us check in early in the morning.
Cons: The walls between the rooms are so thin that you can hear everything in the next room. Be sure to bring ear plugs. Also remember that your neighbour can hear everything from your room!
Pros: Maria's Place was in a perfect location in the heart of Korcula Old Town. Close to all sightseeing, restaurants etc. The apartment was clean, with all amenities we could need including a mini-fridge and hairdryer. I had a lovely nights sleep :) It is definitely good value for money.
Cons: The luggage storage that is offered is simply a designated area on the floor within the shared common lounge and in view of the front door (which opens up into a stairwell). The front door was left open most of the time we were there, which didn't bother me as a guest, but I didn't feel comfortable leaving my bags there all day which I had hoped to do. I'm sure it would have been fine but as a traveler I didn't want to test my luck. Luckily the Travel Agent in Korcula were happy to keep our luggage for the day while we did a daytrip with them so it all worked out.
Pros: Maria’s place is superbly located, right in the center of Old Town! The rooms were clean and comfortable. I visited in late October, meaning it was lovely and peaceful, but also that a number of restaurants had already shut for the season!
Cons: The self check-in felt a little impersonal.
Pros: Not so easy to find but worth it! Spacious clean room in ideal location
Cons: Not easy to find!
Pros: Perfect location for attractive price
Pros: Decent room and good bathroom with tea making facilities. Excellent situation in the heart of the old town.
Cons: No kitchen facilities
Pros: Maria’d Place is conveniently located in the old town and a five minute walk to the ferry. That’s a real bonus!
Cons: It would have been great to have a mini fridge, coffee and a few dishes in the lobby for basic convenience like breakfast.

Pros: Owners were very nice, let us check in early, very helpful regarding local hot spots and assisted us whenever necessary. Great location and good sized rooms.
Pros: Only location
Cons: No facilities, very dirty carpet I had to make sure I had my shoes on at all time, there was good flores but they put old mats on them so to protect the floor, you can only have one shower at a time 2nd shower the water would go cold, not a hotel or a self contained unit , had to go and get my own toilet paper as on a 7 day stay they gave us 1 toilet roll. Sheets were very old. Hey cmon you except the money but you give no services.
Pros: The hosts were super friendly and the room was as expected. The location was excellent!
Cons: In our opinion the place was a bit expensive for what you actually get. However, the whole town of Korcula is a bit expensive so maybe that is why the price is high.
Pros: The location was great and the owner provided a lot of good information on how to best visit the island.
Cons: Steep stairs
Pros: Owner was friendly & accomodating. Location was excellent. Room size was better than expected.
Cons: Strong disinfectant smell in room. Room was clean but dated and amenities minimal but within expectation for price. Difficult to regulate air condioner
Pros: Great location, great price, owner allowed us to stay in room until the 6 PM ferry for a reasonable price.
Cons: Blankets were old, room was dated. Only minor issues....great historic building.
Pros: Great location on quiet street in historic heart of the city. Good AC. Pretty comfortable bed.
Cons: Bathroom was in the hall with open window above door to the hall with just a light curtain blocking it.
