Overview

This charming family-owned hotel, established in 1934, is renowned for its traditional Alpine hospitality. Now run by the third and fourth generations of the same family, it offers a welcoming stay for all Oberammergau visitors, whether attending the Passion Play or enjoying a weekend getaway. Centrally located near the church tower, the hotel is ideal for exploring the town's famed galleries and woodcarving workshops. The hotel's doors, carved from Swiss pine, exemplify the local artistry. With only 23 rooms, guests receive personalized service and attention. Despite its intimate size, the hotel boasts an outstanding restaurant serving traditional and international cuisine and modern conference facilities.
