Location was okay
The bedding was small and the mattress was horrible. Small, cramped dorm style setup was very uncomfortable. The price was to high for what I received. Left halfway thru my original stay and found a much nicer, larger and more comfortable branded suites facility. All while in the same area for a much lower price, with better service.
Run away from this place.
When I arrived no one was there to check me in. There were 8-10 men outside standing around loitering and smoking cigarettes. In the "lobby" about the size of a small residential bathroom were 2 men who smelled awful waiting to see the attendant. There was also another man who went in and out several times without an access key card and always requested that one of the two men waiting let him in. SUPER SHADY!! The window to the attendant was closed and a sign requested that you call to check in. When I did, the call was answered by a call center and I was told someone would be there in 5-10 mins. After 10 mins, I called again and was told the same. After another 10 mins I left. I requested a refund, the hotel directed my to Expedia for a refund, Expedia directed me to the hotel. The only hotel representative I was able to talk to was the man who was supposed to have checked me in who was rude and unapologetic. I was traveling with my young daughter and I was not comfortable staying in this hotel with her. I ended up driving around Charleston until 11 PM in search of an available room that we were comfortable staying in. This hotel is a joke. I would have slept in my car before I stayed here.
Not a good stay
Staff was nice. Restaurants nearby
Floor was filthy had to keep on socks. Roaches in my parents room. I had my 2 year old and there was smoke in the hallway and in our room. Had to check out at 11am but couldn't get an iron until after 10. Beds are very uncomfortable, both my dad and my husband couldn't get a good night rest.
