The elegance of the staircase, the large airy room, the friendly and helpful staff. The amazing shower.
The lift was broken but it allowed us to experience the glory of the staircase!
The building structure is unique and attractive. Nice breakfast in the courtyard. Friendly staff.
The quality of the room was more 3-star, not 4-star.
This property is a gem in central Nîmes. Incredible place, beautiful setting, the room was spacious and clean, staff was great!
this is an extremely congested area, finding the hotel was difficult and involved driving on a number of narrow streets. the parking lot was several block away and was a real nightmark for parking. i would not recommend staying here if you plan to gravel with anything larger than a scooter. in addition we were recommended to a terible and expensive restaurant, and the night staff did not speak any english. this was particularly difficult because we had trouble with our car rental and the staff was not able to help.
It was central
In the heart of the historic center of Roman Nimes, the Best Western Le Marquis de La Baume is nestled in a former town house dating from the 17th Century. With its romantic patio, its historic staircase and antique ceilings, the Best Western Le Marquis de La Baume is the ideal starting point for visiting Nimes and the Gard. This 4 Star hotel is actually very close to the many sites and listed monuments of the city that have witnessed 2000 years of history.
