Pros: The Globe is absolutely fantastic place! It is in the centre of Chagford just off the main square. It is a cosy and charming place. The room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathroom was large and bright with towels, gowns and toiletries and we had a little extra space joining bedroom and bathroom with wardrobe and table with kettle and selection of teas and coffee. There even was a cupboard with dog beds and bowls for guests who travel with their pets. At breakfast there was a choice of cereals, jams and fruit and a tasty, hot breakfast served to the table. Also, The Globe is a wonderful place to dine in Chagford and enjoy a drink by the fireplace in their beautiful restaurant or mingle with locals and listen to live music in the pub area. Last but not least, the staff at The Globe is amazing, helpful and ever so friendly. We simply loved our stay and hope we can visit them again soon!

Pros: Very centrally located on the High Street; extremely comfortable (Superior) room, overlooking the churchyard, and much classier than might be expected from this type of establishment

Pros: Wonderfully roomy, well appointed and comfortable room. Staff were MOST friendly and helpful. Breakfasts surpassed expectations. We enjoyed dining in the pub each evening. Live music was a pleasant bonus. We would love to visit again.

Pros: I loved this inn. Our room was spacious and nicely appointed. The view from our window was storybook. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was generous and very good. Our dinner was also very good. I would stay here again.

Pros: Good sized room and friendly staff. Location was what really sold us as we were there for a wedding. Would have preferred a double bed rather than two singles. Shower not very powerful but plenty of hot water. Right outside the church so you’ll be woken up by Bells on the weekend! Very pleasant stay but not worth over £100 a night. Would have been happier paying £75 for what you get.

Pros: The room was much bigger than I expected, was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The bed was big and super comfy and the bathroom was huge. The hotel had a very nice bar and a restaurant offering value and a great choice of dishes and drinks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and had a very relaxing time.

Pros: This was our second stay, at the hotel excellent service and facilities, enjoyed a lovely meal .and breakfast . Can not fault it at all amazing place to stay .

Pros: That it was central to what I needed it for. Breakfast and Bar staff very welcoming I will make this as a positive as it can be done but new landlord needs to look at how the whole place looks as it could look a lot better than it is especially as a country pub

Pros: A cosy pub with a good menu and beer selection. We ate there both nights that we stayed as food excellent. The rooms were clean and had all facilities you would expect. Breakfast was excellent.
