Found the breakfast to be nice but a bit expensive, as with all restaurants in New York I guess.
They ask you to ask for an early check-in or arrange but when you get there they charge for early check in $50 which I found a bit absurd.
Has very good size rooms compared to average new york accommodations.
I liked having access to coffee in the morning and a bar area at night that was not a night club atmosphere. I liked having the bunk beds for the kids and a king bed for the parents! I am only criticizing a few items below to help the hotel because we did spend a fortune (in our working class world) to stay in this type of larger room in NYC. The staff was very nice to us and for as crazy as the lobby could get, they did a nice job.
We did not realize the family room was on the first floor. It ended up being fine overall, but its just a bit "dungeony" because the room did not have much natural light and the curtains were very dusty and abused and the wands were too high to open the curtains. Even if we opened the curtains, it would be to a brick wall. I realize its NYC and rooms get abused and are small. Our room was nice size and laid out nicely. It did have damage to the top of the king bed frame...it was peeling/cracked linoleum and the whole top of this cracked area was very dusty. There was also a hanging lamp over the pillow area of the king bed which had spider webs hanging off of it. The windows were pretty dirty. The rug was very worn on the raised middle part of the room and did not appear to be vacuumed as there were bits of what looked like toilet paper on the rug. The rooms are touted as "Samsung Experience" rooms. My son and I are usually pretty good at that stuff, but could not get the screen size to work and every channel we chose was not part of the package...ends up all batteries were dead in the remotes...front desk helped us out and by the last night we were good to go.
Didn’t eat the food, but it looked convenient
Very Clean and Location is great ,a very short walk to blue line subway, comfortable bed , the room is bigger than average NY hotel
