Overview

NoMo SoHo gives its guests an ideal combination of style and an urban-inspired chill fest that leaves people talking. Everyone, regardless of age, and even pets, are welcomed to experience the kind of hotel stay that could only be provided in the SoHo area. The location is not only fun but convenient with the Canal St. subway station a few minutes’ walk away. Also, only three miles away is the Statue of Liberty and the Museum of Modern Art.

The hotel smartly incorporates floor to ceiling windows that afford views of the city below. The skyline thus becomes like a work of art plastered on the wall. This complements the chic appeal of the rooms that feature simple, yet welcoming color schemes and soft, plush bedding.

In SoHo, guests are able to mix in with some of the movers and shakers that call this cutting edge area their home. Guests can also make some moves of their own at the fitness center that is open all day and night seven days a week. The cocktail bar is well-positioned to help cap off a day of activity around the city. Valet parking is provided for a fee for the convenience of those who choose to drive instead of venturing through the subway system.

SoHo itself is one of the most outstanding features of a stay at NoMo Soho. It is the hub of the fashion world of New York, and its designers push some of the trends that change the international fashion landscape each year. Guests get to feel the inspiration of this vibrant center of art and creation and perhaps get inspired to do some creating of their own.

Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praise the hotel's prime location in SoHo, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and subway stations, making it a great base for exploring Manhattan. However, several guests were disappointed with aspects of service, such as unfulfilled refund promises, slow or inconsistent housekeeping, and unsatisfactory front desk interactions. Cleanliness received mixed feedback, with some rooms described as clean while others noted worn furnishings or insufficient cleaning. The breakfast and restaurant service did not meet expectations for some, with complaints about quality and availability. Bathrooms also drew criticism for lack of privacy or maintenance issues. Overall, while the location is a major highlight, improvements in service, cleanliness, breakfast, and bathroom facilities could enhance the guest experience.

Pros (+) I used to live in the neighborhood- so it’s perfect for visiting and going to my fav haunts. The NoMo is always nice and clean, great views, quiet but close to the action. The staff is always nice and I feel secure with security/ doormen present in the lobby. Bar has a cool vibe. Will be back again.
Cons (-) $19 avacado toast!! Whaaat?

Pros (+) Clean
Cons (-) The "Deluxe" king room was anything but Deluxe. The bed had drawers sticking out past the mattress by 5+ inches and had very sharp edges. Within 2 minutes of trying to go to the other side of the bed, the sharp edge ripped through my sweats and punctured my calf. With blood running down my leg, the manager said they couldn't comp me any food or hotel amenities just because I "bumped" into somethin...
