Pros (+) The staff was friendly and helpful providing subway directions and breakfast suggestions. They had umbrellas available when we had rain.

Pros (+) From the location to the helpful, friendly staff, I loved this hotel. It was clean, comfortable and beautiful. The on-site restaurant was very good as well.

Pros (+) The hotel was nice, but it is really the location that sells the place. Can't beat it. A block from Central Park, across from the Museum of Natural History.
Cons (-) Bathrooms were a bit dated, and the plumbing seemed temperamental, but it was more than adequate.

Pros (+) The location was great. Half block to Central Park, subway and bus. Bed comfy. Bathroom small but clean and plush. Restaurant had great food.
Cons (-) Scaffolding obscures view and workers during daytime decrease privacy. Friday am, noisy road work started 4:30. No doorman to help when leaving and needing a cab. Pay for in room WiFi. Room cost increased by ~25% various taxes.
