Stunning scenery, comfortable rooms, quite good to have no television and bookshelves dotted around the place. Everybody read! The proximity of the farm was a big plus with the children.
The beds are very low. When I enquired, re. my elderly mother possibly wanting to come, I was told it was possible to raise beds. Maybe this should be advertised in the rooms. One member of our party with 2 new hips really appreciated a raised bed the second and third nights.
Very nice hotel. They offer freshest food, and organic food, since they have their ranch and farm. Of course the food served in the hotel is a little bit expensive, but in Switzerland, all food are expensive, no matter where you go, compared with other European countries. Also, it is an excellent place if you travel with kids, they offer extra bed for kids if they found you travel with kids. My son really enjoy what he found in the ranch and farm, very close to the nature, good for him.
Maybe the hotel want people stay with only for relaxation, so they do not have TV in the room. If they can offer WIFI or wireless, it could be better.
Marvelous nature, eco houses and ecofood plus incredible views of mountains
I liked the design of the rooms very much, simple and peaceful.
We found the food at dinner very bland.
Restaurant is grossly overpriced; chf28 for a bowl of pasta with pesto? They have you over a barrel as the hotel is in the country. Hotel is overpriced for what it is.
It was a very quiet room in a small town. We stayed in the seperate building in a double room with a shower. The rooms were very simple, it was nearly like staying in a cabin which was neat. It was easy to drive to surrounding cities during the day. Parking at the hotel was free and not a problem to find a space. The food in the restaurant was good but expensive (we ate there one night). The breakfast was good with a selection of the usual fare. The store in the lobby has some neat bio products.
The bed was very hard. There also was no tv, which some in my party were dissapointed about.
A friendly, comfortable ambiance with a great view to the Neuchatel lake and the Alps. A very nice room with carefully chosen decoration and furnitures. A delicious buffet breakfast with home-made dishes, that was even served till 11am!
Location is fantastic.
Food expensive and disappointing. Wrong meal provided, badly cooked. No hot water in suite. After complaints it was suggested we go across the car park to a vacant room and use the bathroom there. Some windows in room did not have curtains or shutters.
nice view
breakfast
Very confortable room, amazing place, good food, english speackers
If I didnt have called to the hotel about 10:30 p.m from the road (Bern to Neuchatel) I probably would get lost. I arrived at 2 am. On the other hand, when I called, I find an well prepared man, who gave-me correct instructions.
