The hotel was clean, and in an excellent location
We booked a double room way back last December and upon entering the room we noticed that it had only one single bed.. when complained with the front office, she offered two single bed rooms which obviously we didn’t use since we had all in one luggage and one of us had to sleep on the floor. When we checked out, the management decided to just deduct a miserable €30 when i would have expected to deduct the whole night for the inconvenience.
Pros: The hotel was a four minute walk to the U subway that takes you right into the city center, helpful staff, breakfast included in their restaurant downstairs, a mini fan in the room, let me store my luggage before check in
Cons: communal bathrooms/showers, no Air Conditioning
Extremely friendly staff. Evon was very friendly. Breakfast was immense.
No air con
Friendly Staff, Near to Station and Super Store.
Small window and its position in room; not perfect for summer.
Breakfast: basic assortment, nothing too special but not bad either. Location: Very close to city. Parking: I haven't seen any parking spaces belonging to the hotel owner, although right in front of the hotel there's usually enough Reception: Girl seemed a little tired from her job, but was still doing her best; polite and warm-welcoming.
Breakfast: Quite loud radio music played in the background, with no place to go if you want to avoid that. Reception: Loud background music played even during the night, which was clearly audible in the bedroom. Room: Walls seemed very thin, you could easily hear other people conversing. The rest seemed otherwise clean at first sight. Bed: A little hard for my taste, but nothing too serious. The single pillow on the other hand was too soft (felt like it had no physical structure), which can make sleeping on it uncomfortable; both the pillow and blanked had a slight muffled smell - again, nothing too serious, but still worth mentioning. Bathroom: Very tiny and partly dated; the shower-head looked like a child toy you would buy your daughter for her doll collection. The sink was plugged with seemingly no way to manually unplug it. Door: Oh yea, also the (inside) door handle fell off, which can be VERY annoying, since you'd have no way of actually exiting your own frikkin room.
