Room, facility condition
The location was ok. The guy who gave us the new key was nice. The hot tub was hot Bed was good
The heater was broken and we has no heat the first night. This is Saskatchewan in February. When we advised the front desk the next day they said the handyman would be in by 10 am. I asked for an adjustment to the bill for the first night but the response was to send us across the hall. That room was warm but not a king room that we had booked. This hotel is extremely run down the kind if place that tops the toilet tank with the wrong size lid and leaves red paint stains on the radiator that looks like blood dripping down. It should have been a sign of things to come when I tripped over a bed sheet jammed under the front door of the office to stop drafts from coming in. The price was not right either.. ..still paid $200.
The whole place was perfect for what we payed. Any. One complaining are fools.
I was fine.
Bed was comfortable. TV was standard channels. Breakfast is cereal or tiny muffins Parking free. Quiet room. All fine The hotel is old and in need of upgrades
The staff was friendly and the room met our standards. Everything was in order upon arrival and check-in was seamless. The hot tub and pool area were adequate and the room was very quiet. The photos of the facility posted on line were representative of the facility so there were no surprises.
The property is dated, but overall clean. A few cosmetic details updated would go a long way to make the facility more pleasing to the eye (trim on exterior of tub, updated rug on stairs, new shower head).
