Pros:The gentleman at the front the desk was nice. The motel is near a Whole Foods Market. The motel is also centrally located and is within a short drive to wharf and downtown.
Cons:Everything is old. Walls were thin. Curtains had holes which allowed for outside light. Overall, this place was dingy and not worth what we paid.

Pros:They have fire places in some rooms.
Cons:Found hair on the bed,& in the shower. The TV didn't work, nor did the alarm or one light. Main door did not properly close and light was coming in threw cracks.. very thin walls, could hear people in next room talking. The bed felt old and broken, the bed sheets were, well they were only top sheets. If you're so cheap you can't afford CAL KING bed sheets, maybe you shouldn't have a motel.....

Cons:The facility is very old, and the walls are not sound proof at all. If you stay at a room near the stairs, you will hear cracking noise from the wood while people walking up and down. The heater was broken and the wifi is super slow. The beds are clean but the pillows are hard and flat. While the staff are generally very nice but they don't speak English very well, so it's not exactly easy to communicate.

Pros:I will NEVER stay here again.
Cons:They advertise $135 for 3 days including 10% tax...HOWEVER they charge $189 for the stay because of the tiny print indicating there is a $15 Room Service Fee. The owner had the audacity to laugh at my shock/distress...I work very hard for what little $ I earn and I tightly budget my spending. Also it doesn't feel good to be duped in this manner...I later checked: most motels in Monterey charge a $1 or $5 room service fee.

Cons:Expensive! The toilet was not secured to the floor, nor was the seat to the toilet. Bed was very old and sagged quite badly on both sides. The whole place seemed quite run down.

Cons:I am still surprised no one has called the health department yet and shut down this place. The towels were stained and gross, when I asked for new ones the front desk man/manager grabbed 3 other towels with his greasy hands and put them on the dirty counter, they were touching the floor and he gave them to me as cleaner ones...they also had stains. The shower curtain had mold..a lot of it, the floor had huge white stains and blankets holes from cigarettes. ..and the smell..oh boy!
