We stayed here 6 days in September and we won’t forget the lovely friendly hospitality of Luciano and Anna. They did their utmost best to make it a wonderful stay for us. Every morning we received advice about places to visit and therefore we saw things which are less known for tourists from other countries. The breakfast they prepared each day was delicious and plentiful. Contrary to what we had read before, there was a good sized TV and the wifi worked well! The room was big enough. The house is in a beautiful quiet spot. We found it quite easily because we had looked it up before. The bit of unmade road at the end is short. Montefalco is a picturesque town with a nice atmosphere and several good restaurants.
We thought the mattress was a bit hard, but that was not a real problem for us.
Really nice property in very rural setting. Very comfortable room. Nice couple running the hotel, able to provide lots of information about the surroundings and activities. Very nice breakfast.
So say hotel is bit hard to find. It is if you don't do your homework. Please prepare before (google maps). The hotel is sign posted coming from Montefalco. Wifi in room can also be scetchy, but can also be because of rural setting.
Lovely setting in an olive grove with excellent facilities. Warm, helpful hosts and a great breakfast with homemade jams.
Hosts very hospitable, friendly and provided information, maps, for things to see around the area and as far as Assisi. Delicious omelettes for breakfast as well as an array of food and fruit! Good central position, once you have found the place. Quiet and safe.
Our GPS did not have the position of the BnB. Called them and host came and met us in Montefalco and drove with us to the house. We found out that if we had gone further, there were signs to the property.
Our hosts were such warm, hospitable people. After 8 days, we left feeling we had made lifelong friends. Olliver the cat was an instant 'hit', a most endearing little chap. Loved the mellow, tranquil mornings and the vistas to the distant mountains. And last but not least, the splendid breakfasts which we never could do justice to. Special mention--Luciano's scrambled eggs!!
Tomtom could not locate the address. Nearest point was Montefalco, the town. Fortunately I had previously created a paper sketch map from Google maps which got us there --after a rather confusing 10mins. Signage could be improved.
