Exmoor House was exceptional! from the warm welcome, where we were served with tea & cake on arrival from our excellent, hosts Steve & Sheila who had lots of local knowledge, advising on the area, walks & amenities, through to the spotless, comfortable & beautifully furnished rooms throughout. The breakfast menu was very varied, giving plenty of choice for all tastes & requirements & the food was perfect.Exmoor House has a lovely welcoming, relaxing atmosphere & a wealth of history, the perfect, retreat.
There wasn't anything we didn't like about our stay at Exmoor House, it was perfect.
A B&B of exceptional quality, located in a village of character, with listed buildings galore and a rich history. The hosts could not have been more welcoming and the room was spacious and comfortable, ideal for a four day break. The breakfast was an absolute treat, freshly cooked and catering for a wide range of tastes. We would love to go back!
Excellent Guest House! Wonderful good-quality food! Good, friendly service.
Only drawback is parking, which is difficult in the whole of Dunster. The landlord has permits for the National Trust car park but it is a walk away - so not really suitable for people who aren't mobile.
Excellent hotel, excellent food and very welcoming.
