Pros: Top place would certainly stay again
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly owners, good food for a fair value
5,0 Okay
Pros: The restaurant was nice and it served lovely food.
Cons: We were given the most lousy room in the hotel. The bed was too narrow for us (in our 60 and 70s), the room had the exhaust from the kitchen right outside and it made an infernal noise and the smell of fish was overpowering. The room was way overpriced... it would have been expensive at half the price....
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything..... yes, it did far exceed our expectations. The room was clean, very comfortable and the en-suite bathroom was very modern and well equipped. For those who love cycling, it’s perfect, as a cycling path runs right adjacent to the hotel. The restaurant was brilliant, and the food amazing, we thoroughly recommend it and give our congratulations to the chef (who is the owner).
Cons: Can’t think of anything!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A superb hotel, the owners Fedoua and Pierre were marvellous with a wonderful welcome with an amazing attention to detail. No request was any trouble. The room was lovely and met our needs very well. The food both at breakfast and evening meal was of the highest quality. In particular the €21 evening meal was excellent. Special mention also to Audrey who assisted in the restaurant in the evenings. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to see the real France away from campsites and cities. This is a superb location with a lovely cycle path that you can also use to walk into the beautiful beach resort of Mimizan plage about 15-20 minutes walk away.
8,0 Excellent

Cons: Service at dinner.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly family run hotel, they put our bicycles somewhere in a storage room inside so they would be safe during the night. Reasonably priced. Located very close to the center of Mimizan-plage. Good breakfast with different types of cakes :)
Cons: Nothing really. Just a pity that the cook was on holidays during our stay. The town (with restaurants) is really close, but unfortunately there was a storm and it was raining very hard.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is run by a lovely couple who were extremely helpful and attentive towards all their guests. As we were cycling the long distance Velodyssey, our group required a good evening meal and filling breakfast. We got both. The evening meal 'plats' were superb and the breakfast was a cut above most of the breakfasts (that we also enjoyed at other hotels) on our cycle tour. Certainly a hotel that I would love to visit again.
Cons: There were no issues with the hotel or its services.

Pros: it Is an extremely comfortable Hotel. Very well run. Their restaurant is excellent ... thoroughly recommend! Location of the Hotel for us is perfect .... just far enough out of the main town for a peaceful night’s rest! but near enough to have a nice leisurely walk to all the facilities. 8,8 Excellent
Pros: Clean. Quite comfortable. Location short walk to beach and good restaurants. Staff were courteous and fun.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious bedroom with balcony. Bath with shower over. We were cycling la Velodyssee which goes past the property. Though only mid September the area had pretty much closed for winter and being a Sunday there was nowhere open for an evening meal. We had assumed that, being a hotel, there would be a restaurant. However, the British owner very kindly took me to get a takeaway pizza, supplied beer and did all she could to help. We were so grateful as we had cycled 55 miles and were tired and hungry! The following morning, after a good breakfast, I had mysteriously lost my glasses, but Jan? The owner found them and tracked us down on our bikes to return them. We had booked a month of accommodation for our trip, and met many “Land ladies” and so sorry if I have the name wrong, but we will always remember what I felt was a “ true northern hospitality “ in every respect. Thoroughly recommended this hotel, and, in season it is right next to a big lake. Go there!
Cons: Nothing at all
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location by the Lac and 15 minutes drive from the beach.

6,7 Good
Pros: View from the room over the lake. The walks along the linear gardens.
Cons: There was a damp smell to parts of the hotel. The town itself at times had an awful stench of what we thought maybe something was rotting? Maybe it was the huge factory nearby?
7,9 Good
Pros: Lovely location on the lake bit outside the centre of Mimizan but very quiet
Cons: The staff were very helpful even giving us a lift to the village to save us cycling another 4 miles

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Incredible staff, food, rooms, location. Best night of sleep I’ve had in France. Inn keeper makes you feel welcome and at home immediately. Beach is minutes away and exceptional. Order the mussels!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location, in the center of the town. Close to all stores and restaurants. Less than 2min walking to the beach. By the way, good restaurant as well with homemade pizza. There is a private parking for few cars on premise.
Cons: It was a little bit noisy during the night. People going home after partying.
4,6 Okay
Pros: I mostly appreciated the fact that the hotel sent us the code and description before we arrived so that we did not had to wait until the reception is open... Also it was not a problem to leave one hour after the check out time....
Cons: Probably never back again: At the end the price was higher then booked on booking.com... I made a reservation for 2 adults and 2 kids... and the manager asserted that the room was just for 2 adults.... but without saying anything that she just charged two rooms and 3 adults instead.... I noticed that only after I payed the bill...... But she (the manager) only blamed booking.com ... She did not understand that if there was a mistake she should have told us immediately and not just quietly put it on the bill.... Moreover if she is using booking com ..... why am I the one who pays for mistake? That spoiled the overall experience with that hotel to a large extent..... By the way that lady was probably the only unpleasant person in the hotel ... she does not know how to smile.. You do not want to meet her especially in the morning during breakfast...... ... The mattress in the bed was old ... U shape..
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely little local restaurant & rooms. Spotless clean & well equipped given the price point. Handy private parking. Most beautiful food available in restaurant & lovely friendly welcome from all staff. We would definitely stay here again if in this area.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, very well maintained and the interior looks superb.. I look forward to staying again! We also enjoyed a nice evening meal sat outside in the garden area. Beautiful food and excellent service. 10/10
6,3 Good
Pros: Location was good & had free parking but in heart of a busy area. Room clean & breakfast at extra cost was good with friendly owners & staff. The restaurant was clearly very popular with queues nightly for tables
Cons: The location inevitably meant some late night/early morning noise. Our room up 2 flights of stairs was basic. The shower was broken & had to be held in one hand to use. There was a bidet which also did not seem to function. Overall our room (no7) was very tired. We stayed 2 nights & after the 1st night all other rooms on the floor were vacated & doors left open. Each of these had modern functioning walk in showers & were clearly recently updated. All rooms were filled later. We were unlucky!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Warm welcome with clear instructions provided on the door code and wifi code. Room was clean and comfortable. Having walked round the town we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. There was a large queue of people wanting to do the same, but we were greeted and seated immediately. The food was lovely and the service attentive. Next morning, we had the hotel breakfast, warm fresh croissants, pain au chocolat and bread, served with home made jams. Fresh orange juice and a choice of tea/coffee. Excellent.
Cons: The room we stayed in wasn't air conditioned, we left the window open and had some noise from the street. Didn't affect our sleep.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable.
Cons: Check in was a bit of an issue as no staff were available when we arrived at 16.00hrs. This was soon fixed with a quick phone call. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed so we were not able to eat in the hotel which we had hoped to do.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and plentiful breakfast options. The in house restaurant at night was excellent, lovely atmosphere and we enjoyed our evening meal. The lady running the hotel was very pleasant and accommodating. Located right in the heart of the town center close to beach and shops.
Cons: We were cycling so storage was provided for our bicycles in the staff changing room but space is limited with other guests bikes. A suggestion would be to ideally have a separate secure garage on the property.

3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Good location close to crowded main street Very kind calling and waiting us for check in (due to hotel room price -100 eur- we didn’t realize that check in should be before 20:00h) Very helpful guy offering parking inside facilities
Cons: Given room in annexe building, number 36 in attic, smelly, old and dirty (supposed to be “superior double room”) Out-of-date furniture and decoration. Very low ceiling not acceptable for an attic. Extremely hot as expected in attics. Needed to open windows with consequent noise coming from crowded street . Rusty and dirty windows We thought breakfast was included. We would like to have been informed about this extra cost (20 eur more) when staff told us the breakfast hours. Not worth at all. Very unpleasant stay and incredible high cost given general condition. Some illustrating pictures attached
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very welcoming, kind and friendly. Dinner and breakfast were good. Location was great for us (bike trip)
Cons: The bedroom was rather small and twin beds with a wooden frame were not so adequate to our big size ( we are very tall). And the main heating system was down - though I left the one from the bathroom sxitched on at all times and it finally warmed up the room by the time we came back from dinner.
8,8 Excellent

Pros: Quiet and basic B&B with friendly staff in a beautiful area. Decent, simple breakfast of coffee, croissant and French bread with jam. Cheap twin room and nice people but nothing to write home about, sorry.
Cons: The restaurant is closed at the weekend from September, not immediately obvious on booking and it's in a remote location so had to find dinner elsewhere before driving down narrow country lanes to get to the B&B.

3,3 Mediocre
Pros: The shower was good and the bed linen was clean
Cons: On arrival we nearly left on seeing the room- it was small, the bed was against a wall and the furniture was cheap. the walls were stained and the whole room dark and uninviting. This hotel certainly did not compare well with others that we stayed in. The shower was good, (but it took a long time for the hot water to run and it was initially brown) the drain could not cope with the flow of water so time in the shower was limited. Outside our window was a decaying bird and the gardens were untidy.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Bathroom ok, shower good. Bed comfortable and clean.
Cons: Hotel had unpleasant damp smell, ceiling outside bedroom covered in water stains and smelly. NO window in bedroom - only skylight on high ceiling - felt like a cell, very small room for the money €73 for a double room with no breakfast included. Swimming pool unusable - dirty. Place felt unkempt and uncared for. No tea/coffee making facilities in room.
6,3 Good
Pros: Location, pool
Cons: The walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors. The beds are not comfortable. A bit overpriced for what you get.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The pool was great and the parking was good.
Cons: The bathroom was tiny and very hot. There was no air conditioning and there was a continuous foul smell from the local paper mill.
7,9 Good
Pros: Good stop off with private covered parking for bikes scooters bicycles ,breakfast fine
Cons: Bed a little small and room a little basic , but fine
4,6 Okay
Pros: Shower fixture was broken, bed side light did not work.
Cons: Room did not have any windows, it was very small. No space to relax in other than the bed.
7,1 Good
Pros: It was a cute hotel. Room and bathroom amenities were sufficient. The noise travels, but I'm a light sleeper. Breakfast was nice, no buffet, but enough to fill for a whole morning. We only stayed one night to rest from travelling by car and it was perfect for that.
Cons: Noise travels and because we were out of season the pool looked terrible.

7,5 Good
Pros: Beds were comfy. Liked having a dishwasher. Great location.
Cons: Kichen facilities were very minimal, making cooking difficult. The wardrobe was too small for 4 people and the shelf was broken. Repaired when I complained about it. Not enough shelving and storage space to put things. The rooms were big enough to accomodate these changes.
