Location is fantastic and the common areas of the hotel really embody the Miami vibe!
The rooms and beds are really small and I was surprised to find tiny ants all around the room. I realise these are a feature of Florida life but I think a better cleaning and sanitation system would ensure guests didn't have to deal with ants running around the dressing table and bedside lockers.
Had to cut the vacation shorty due to the hurricane. These guys offered anyone that wanted to leave early a refund which was great. The staff are friendly, hotel is clean and has a great restaurant downstairs.
There was no full length mirror and only one that was in the bathroom so was really inconvenient for two girls getting ready. This is the only reason I wouldn't choose this hotel again
This is beautiful, art deco-style hotel. Clean, simple, elegant, very quiet and private. The room was great, simple - but convenient, with small but capacious wardrobe, very comfortable bed and clean bathroom with basic toiletries. Great location, supernice people. Never been to a more friendly hotel. All the staff is great, helpful, smiled and kind. You have the feeling like you are a member of a Cardozo family. I definately reccomend and sure that we will always stay in Cardozo, whenever visit Miami.
Hotel was great and I don't have any complains. But on the booking.com there is no info about the resort fee which has to be paid extra. This should be checked and changed at the reservation stage - on the booking.com site.
Bed was very comfortable and staff was pleasant. The location was perfect.
We ran into some issues with payment and cleanliness of bed linens on the first day but the issue was quickly handled. The shower and elevator were both very small.
Very clean, no carpet at the room, great localization, cool staff.
The price of the restaurant of the hotel.
Cardozo Hotel reopens on Miamis South Beach as a reimagined destination in the citys celebrated Art Deco district. Originally constructed in 1939 with architecture by Henry Hohauser, Cardozo is steeped in historical significance that stretches from World War II housing to Hollywood movie set (a la 1959s Hole in the Head with Frank Sinatra; Ben Stillers famous hair gel scene in 1998s Theres Something About Mary; and Oliver Stones 1999 film, Any Given Sunday). The latest iteration of the Miami Beach property comes in the form of a full $15 million makeover completed in 2019 by Hotel owners and global superstars, Emilio and Gloria Estefan. The NEW Cardozo showcases a modern, white motif that also embraces the hotels Art Deco legacy.41 guest rooms and suites occupy Cardozos three floors. The clean, white design that marks the hotels public areas spreads through each of these accommodations: white bedframes don mother-of-pearl headboards; glossy cabinetry lines matte white walls; and bathrooms are decked in white tiles and sophisticated gold fixtures. A mix of king, queen, and double bed configurations with options for courtyard, city, or ocean views are available. Standard in-room amenities include mini-refrigerator, flat-panel television, ceiling fan, and safe.Cardozos 1,500 square-foot penthouse offers an indulgent space as the hotels largest room category spanning the width of Cardozos top floor. With two king bedrooms, private dressing area, dining area, living room, two master bathrooms with marble soaking tubs and glass enclosed double showers, an additional guest bathroom, two 60-inch televisions, and panoramic views of the famous South Beach strip and shoreline, this suite is the only one of its kind on Miami Beachs Ocean Drive. The penthouse design mirrors that of the hotels other rooms and suites, although amplified with custom furnishings that add to its contemporary Miami flare.
