The concierge was truly kind and attentive, making sure all the guests’ needs are met. The entire staff is very helpful and if you like history, this wonderful building is like a waltz into the past.

Both times have been great, although I must say that service is way better now, both inside the hotel and at the restaurant (which used to be a Sanborns and is now Buenos Diaz). Pros (+) Learning about the history of this hotel was more informative than the tour I took at Teutihuacan. The breakfast in the Veranda was excellent (authentic), and winding down in the Telephone Bar was perfect.
Cons (-) I had to ask the housekeeping repeatedly to replenish the coffee water and keep my windows locked, but they had a good attitude and kept the room clean and fresh.
