The staff and location.
We love the location of the Four Seasons in Mexico City. It's right near Chaputelpec Park, a 10 minute walk from Condessa and Roma, two of our favorite neighborhoods, and away from the craziness of downtown. All rooms face a courtyard, which is lovely, and a great place to take a break from the city. The bar is excellent. Rooms are good size with comfortable beds.

Always a warm welcome and a great atmosphere. Nothing but attention to detail and courteous staff.
The location of the hotel is great to explore the city. The amazing Anthropology Museum and several arts museums are within easy walking distance. We enjoyed the breakfast selection and the quality of the food. It was wonderful to sit in the courtyard and have breakfast outside. The heated pool and the jacuzzi were great and the spa area was very clean. The hotel staff was wonderful with the exception of some of the waiters in the restaurant. The room was kept exceptionally clean and plenty of clean water was provided every day. The grounds were well kept and provided a green oasis after coming back from the city.
Most hosts/hostesses and waiters were very friendly and provided excellent service. One of the waiters even addressed me with my name one morning, which I had not experienced at big hotels before. A nice touch! However, one of the hosts and some waiters did not care. We had to wait for more than 10 minutes one morning to get coffee, even though there were only about 5 people in the restaurant. We also did not like the many small plastic bottles that were used every day to provide fresh water. We would have been happy to refill our bottle each day from a clean water fountain, if available, perhaps next to the elevator. The hotel might want to think about how to eliminate the plastic bottles.
