The only car hire company that offers shuttle or pick-up services from Meridian Key Field airport to off-airport locations is Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
Pros:It was a good car and comfortable.
Cons:Time it took to rent took hour and a half. Insurance was expensive costing near half of the original rental price.

Pros:I didn't have to wait long at pick up. The car was ready in time.
Cons:The car did not have any windshied wiper fluid. I know that's minor, but everything should be checked and everything should be in working order before handing the keys over to the renter.
Pros:They gave me a car that was much smaller than the car I booked. My drive was eight hours in a cramped up little car. Just awful

Pros:The people at the Meridian office were "apologetic" and nice, but couldn't help me.
Cons:Everything. (1) Kayak did not provide Hertz my phone number although I have confirmation (screen shot) that it was given and Hertz said they did not receive that inforamtion from Kayak. (2) I am headed to Knoxville TN to do an inspection on an airplane and I had to be there by 3:30 to do the inspction. When I arrive at Hertz (Meridian, MS) they tell me they do not have any cars for me to rent, even though I have a confirmation. They do tell me that they have one in the shop with a "tire issue" but it will be afternoon before it is ready. My pickup was at 8:00 AM. (3) Now, I am stranded, without a rental car. I call Enterprise Rental, who initially said they wouldn't allow a one way drop off, but the local shop said "yes" we can do that, just cost $75.00 more. Enterprise had me in a car by 9:15PM an $200.00 cheaper than Hertz. Sorry Hertz, but your done with me. Kayak?? Third party rental sites have left me high and dry two times in a row now. Price Line canceled my reservation and didn't notify me and Kayak didn't pass my phone number on to Hertz so that they could have at least called me. I'm done with both of them.
Pros:Local hertz office did not have car I reserved and prepaid and had no others cars available when I went to pick up car. Would not help with refund. Insisted I call corporate customer service. Customer service tried to charge a cancellation fee even though hertz had not supplied a car that was a guaranteed reservation. Now they have alternately denied my refund or lied and said they would refund in 3-5 days repeatedly for 3 weeks. Horrible customer service, lies and incompetence. Never Hertz.
