Very friendly staff, always smiling, good people in here, easy to deal with.
Nothing. Just the air con was down for my stay but they put a mobile air con. Still hot but appreciate the effort. Not many storage for fridge and dry kitchen stuff
Excellent location, very clean. Private room and bathroom as good as a hotel. Very quiet floor despite being fully booked.
Location, staff, lobby, facilities
Habitat HQ is in a great location, being so close to tram and bus links to the city, with only a short walk to the beach, the bars & restaurants on Carlisle St (amazing Japanese restaurant is Mr Ryu) in one direction or Fitzroy St in another. The property itself is clean, modern and has good facilities. We had a private room which was comfortable and good value for money, and although we expected some noise at night, we were completely undisturbed. We found that every member of staff we spoke to was friendly, welcoming and keen to help with information, directions etc. We were able to buy Myki cards from Reception which were well-used throughout our stay! If we're ever in the area again, we'd definitely come back to stay here and would recommend to others.
With a stay at Habitat HQ - Hostel in St Kilda, you'll be in a shopping district, within a 15-minute walk of Acland Street and Fitzroy Street. Featured amenities include wired Internet access (surcharge), a computer station, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge at scheduled times, and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
