10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location if you arrive by train. Scrupulously clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and a superb breakfast buffet (hot dishes are prepared to order). Even the tap water is delicious.
Cons: Perhaps not the most inspiring appearance from the outside....
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location opposite the train station, and with ski bus stop literally outside the door of the ski boot room. Only 3 minutes by bus to the lifts. Nice decor, clean, stylish, warm, even the ski boot room. After skiing, there's a small lounge area with free tea and snacks, very nice. Professional staff. Parking on site. Overall a really nice place, we would definitely return.
Cons: Note that the available wellness facilities (elsewhere in the town) are closed in the evening, so not useful for a ski trip. Staff were extremely professional - but doesn't hurt to be friendly and smiley as well! Finally, beware that the restaurants is divided in two parts, one with a cheaper bistro menu, one with a more expensive menu. If you are booking a table, be clear which side you want, as they won't tell you which they have booked for you. We were left to feel quite awkward.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Decent breakfast, nothing too fancy but generally good quality.
Cons: Rooms are quite small but very clean and infra is new. For somebody over 180 cm height the amount of space feels adequate but by no means relaxing. On the other hand, everything in Switzerland is tiny the hotel is in this sense not any exception but rather a standard.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Spending Christmas at Hotel Victoria was an amazing experience. Small and cosy with a great team delivering amazing food in a cosy and family style hotel atmosphere.
Cons: Taking error on my part for not asking, however guidance to the wellness could have been nice. When we're back we will have a sneak ^^

Pros: The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good. I had booked a "triple" room (for my 2 kids and myself) and they gave us the family room instead, which was very nice from them. It was just a perfect stay and I will for sure come back there the next time I come to Meiringen.

Pros: Location, old charme including needing updates, good breakfast, big rooms, walking distance to ski cableway

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located very close to the train station and the lifts to the mountains. The Bidmi Family ski resort is only 15 min way by the lifts and from there many nice sledding routes can be reached. Taking the lift further up, the Aplentower can be reached in another 10 - 15 min, with an amazing 360° view of the Alps. The hotel is a beautiful historical building in Art Nouveau style. There is in gereral a lot of space and a nice, nostalgic aura. Our triple room was quite big, clean and with great views at the mountains. The breakfast room is spacious and has a great atmosphere while the buffet and offerings are quite good. The staff was very friendly and helpful and gave us good tips for things to do in the region. We will definetely go back again soon.
Cons: We would appreciate some vegan options at breakfast.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, great location, would stay again.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Large hotel. Location is very central and has free parking. We had a nice large corner room with multiple windows and nice view. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was fine with a lot of choices (except for brown bread).
Cons: The TV was not working and only showed 3 channels. I complained, but staff did not provide any help (other than reporting it to the technician which might have come the day later after we had left) and did not even excuse themselves. In the room we found 5 dead flies lying on the floor (one dead fly on the bed!). When was this room last cleaned?

Pros: Staff great, breakfast fresh and location perfect.
Cons: The light in hall of the room did not work.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Room was sparsely decorated, but spotlessly clean with a super comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Centrally located in the main street of Meiringen. Good WIFI signal in room. Garage parking for motorcycles :) We will definitely stay here again.
Cons: Receptionist when we checked in was not friendly or helpful. Nor could she answer any of our questions regarding parking, dining and breakfast arrangements. Subsequently we ate elsewhere for diner and breakfast. By pure chance the head chef helped us out with motorcycle parking in the hotel garage.
6,3 Good
Pros: The location is very close to the Meiringen station, only five minutes.
Cons: The room was very hot, due to the hot weather and without air conditioning. Thus, could not sleep very well.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness of all the staff
Cons: The room did not have air conditioning but had a fan which was only partially effective
7,9 Good
Cons: Even though the hotel is nice doesn’t look like in the pictures. The breakfast was poor and the lady serving it was arrogant and bossy.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: People super friendly, room great, location brilliant
Cons: Restaurant was fully booked
7,0 Good
Pros: Very close to the train station, it was a 10 min walk to the ski lift, that can be a bit difficult if you are carrying your ski equipment.
Cons: Slightly old fashioned rooms. It is very expensive.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean, comfortable and friendly. It's really well placed, just walk out of the train station and cross the road. All staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was great, a Swiss meal served from 7am. Fresh loaves of bread to cut yourself, plates of cheese and meat, eggs. Add cereals, yoghurts, fresh and dried fruit, nuts, croissants, salad, jam, toast etc and you are spoiled for choice. My room was huge with a separate seating area and overlooked the main street. I heard no traffic noise with the window shut. During the day it was pleasant to leave the huge window open. I stayed for a week and never ran out of things to do. It was wonderful coming back after a long day and just to stroll across the road and be in the hotel. There was a nice place to sit outside with a beer or cool glass of wine.
Cons: Nothing

10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had an absolute marvelous time at the Dunkel-Blaue Maus! We were here in the summertime and opted for the garden room. The room itself is spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The garden is a pleasure to relax in and a true oasis of flowers and plants! Every morning the breakfast was brought to our front door at the time we preferred. When we came back from our hike, aside from a refilled refrigerator and a cleaned up house, we were often surprised with a nice fresh piece of fruit. We also had the chance to eat dinner with these delightful people and the other guests, and needless to say, it was excellent and a night to remember. So if you ever look for accommodations near Meiringen, do not hesitate and go for the Dunkel-Blaue Maus!
