Riad Swaka

This guesthouse is located in the Medina, or old city of Marrakesh, near the traditional souk markets and in a quarter made famous by the Bahia Palace. The hotel is also near the Badii Palace and the Mellah, the old Jewish district. Menara Airport is 60 km away. The small hotel has been created out of a converted Riad. In times gone by, Riads in Marrakech were the homes of governors, Caliphs and the city's other wealthy and influential people. Nowadays these homes have been transformed into small guesthouses that respect the norms and standards of the hotelier establishment. This Riad has 3 double rooms and a suite as well as a TV lounge, a bicycle cellar and its own parking. Room and laundry services are available. The house has been decorated with great care in warm tones of ochre and brown sand. Its patio is freshened by a fountain and the terraces have a view over the palace gardens. Rooms are en suite and have individually adjustable air conditioning and heating. The house has a nice sunbathing terrace and guests have the option of booking a massage. Guests who wish to eat meals in the house should book the meals first.
