Pros: Staff were excellent and so welcoming! It was my birthday and they provided balloons and a cake which was so thoughtful. The pictures don’t do the place justice, it’s beautiful and so clean. The bedrooms are large and the pool is relaxing with the sound of wildlife, will definitely be returning.
Cons: N/A
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, the room and the facilities were great, breakfast was delicious and it was a really quiet and peaceful place to relax. They are pet friendly (they accept pets of 15 kg max) so that is great as well. This is definitely my top choice whenever I go to Manuel Antonio.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was beautifully appointed. The reception was also an artist gallery, stunning. Our accommodation was perfect with views of the pool and forest. Breakfast was excellent, great menu. Didn’t want to leave.
Cons: There was nothing to dislike. Absolutely beautiful place to stay
10,0 Excellent
Pros: seen monkeys everyday from balcony of room had a small issue with a room and was given great service and put into an even better room. Art everywhere and its all for sale if you like it! Cool little dog name Yara is usually there too.
Cons: beds hard n uncomfortable
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Best customer service from a hotel, ever ! Sebastian and Jordan are friendly and super helpful. Nelson, the manager, went above and beyond for us. Plaza Yara really shines as a boutique hotel in every way. The rooms are huge, the showers amazing, the private balconies looking into the jungle supreme, the pools exceptional in cleanliness w more chance to see birds. The breakfast so nice and delish (chocolate pancakes ! YUM!) Art gallery by one prolific artist. We left w a painting and some ceramic hand painted geckos and frogs. Long live Yara. My highest compliments. I didn't shut up about its charm the rest of my trip. Was sad I did not have longer to spend there.
Cons: not one thing to complain about, not one
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Best service at a hotel, EVER ! Sebastian and Jordan were lovely and helpful. Nelson (the manager) went above and beyond for us. Thanks again ! Really lives up to the boutique in "boutique hotel" Lovely giant rooms w amazing showers. Wonderful private viewing areas into the jungle. Nice clean pools offer yet another bird viewing area. Breakfast delicious (chocolate pancakes!) as was coffee. Awesome gallery w art by one prolific artist. We bought quite a few things here. I did not shut up about the amazing service and charm of this place for the rest of my trip. Sets the bar high. I only got to spend 3 nights total here and was pining for more. I absolutely adored it !
Cons: zero complaints

5,8 Okay
Pros: The restaurant was closed (which was not mentioned) I was there with my girlfriend and we wanted a romantic early breakfast, instead we had a pool exercise class going on right in front of us . The instructor was yelling his instructions . Absolutely a “buzz kill”
Cons: Restaurant on site was closed. Which was not mentioned prior to booking. Had to do unnecessary traveling for diner. And a lot of grounds was closed due to maintenance.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location great staff ; very spacious apartment
Cons: Breakfast could have started earlier given early morning tours
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful. Apartments are large with good living/kitchen area. Pool was great. Views of the Pacific from the pool are stunning. Kids loved the self designed pancakes for breakfast.
Cons: The lift directly to the apartment opened unannounced a few times, with people in the lift. This was a little concerning regarding security.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Such a beautiful property I will definitely be back!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was excellent. Beautiful views from the pool. Lovely sunsets. Very spacious living space.
Cons: Private beach had no surf.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We got an enormous apartment. Spot clean, all the imaginable facilities and amenities in the apartment and in the hotel. We stayed for one night, but would be an exciting experience for several relaxing days. Very close to the Manuel Antonio national park.
Cons: Nothing.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The 3 bedroom appartement was beautifully designed and very confortable with 2 bathrooms, a terrace, 3 balconies, an equipped kitchen and nice living room. The service is great and beachtowels are easily provided. The pool is beautiful and the small beach wild. We enjoyed yoga classes on the yoga platform and unfortunately we missed the free cooking classes
Cons: The proposed activities through third parties on the website were a little disappointing, for example the catamaran for whale watching embarked almost 100 visitors.
7,0 Good
Pros: This was our second visit to this resort, and as usual, the staff is always attentive and friendly. Nature, staff and pool area and room size will always be the highlights.
Cons: I was very disappointed this time with several things that were extra points the first time: 1) master bedroom had a TERRIBLE humidity smell 2) master bedroom bathroom didn´t have a trash can 3) master bedroom shower had moss and black stains - cleaning is definitey not properly done 4) no extras in the fridge as before, we were looking to have some drinks at the apartment as we didnt have time to stop by 5) breakfast was still good but it was a big disappointment not to be told in advance when making the reservation that their restaurant was out of service, it was an inconvenient with a baby to go out and look for a place to have dinner and lunch 6) in the main level, the area to the right, nearby the elevator, smelled terrible, not sure if it was the bathroom area, but I just couldn´t stand the smell when I had to go upstairs
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Excellent Breakfast. Huge apartment layout. Elevator opens into your suite.

Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful views. The pool was amazing. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant. There were many great restaurants nearby. The marina was great for food
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. A la carte menu was great
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is nothing short of exceptional. We stayed in Villa 9 and it was the nicest hotel "room" I have ever stayed in. The breakfast omelette is a 10! The sushi bar at the second pool is a 10. The staff is a 10. Makanda cocktail is a 10. Lounge swings at the pool a 10. Wildlife sitings on the grounds are epic. We cannot wait to come back here.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Private beach (you get there in a golf cart), AMAZING pool views (from both of them), unbelievable (and spacious) rooms and incredible wild life encounters.
Cons: It was a bit tricky to find good price/quality places to eat outside the hotel. Manuel Antonio can be quite expensive for casual dining.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our room. It was amazing. Relaxing, luxurious, spacious, private. Really, it had to have been the best room I ever stayed in. The people were very nice and the food at the restaurant was great. It was our perfect get away. They have a web page they use to communicate while on the property and for room service which is really useful and helpful.
Cons: Room service should offer all of the options on the restaurant menu. Especially with regard to breakfast. For the price, it'd be nice if they did something special like give you a free bottle of cheap wine or something extra to make you feel special. The message was ok, not amazing. Also, I hated the coffee maker.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location, views and the incredible pool area. The integration of the hotel with nature and the rainforest was incredible.
Cons: The design felt a bit generic (albeit lovely), could be Thailand, could be LA. What I think would really make this amazing hotel absolutely perfect would be to integrate more local Costa Rican art and design in to the rooms and common spaces. I would also open up the wall between the breakfast area and the restaurant to maximise the fantastic ocean views. The insulation in the deluxe studio block needs to be significantly improved, you can literally hear everything in the room above!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The beach, the architecture

Pros: Everything. Staff are a delight.
Cons: Thunderstorm but not sure the hotel has a line to Him upstairs !!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: What a fantastic hotel! Since we arrived to the hotel everything was amazing. The staff was nice, the Check In process was quick, we got a welcome drink and they took us to our room which was ready before the Check In time. The room was really big and had a private hot tub, and the shower is huge. We had some kind of living room, that was really nice to hang out and watch a movie before going to bed while still hearing to monkeys from outside! lovely experience. The view from our room was breathtaking and it was fun to wake up into it. The staff was beyond amazing and helped us with all we need. You can really trust the guards at the parking lot - they was super nice and let us know that we left one of our car windows open. A minor thing that we found really helpful is the laundry service! Free, fast and made our life much easier. The pool area and the private beach is fantastic - clean, comfortable and has a lot of space to rest.
Cons: That we didn't had more time at the hotel
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Most friendly and knowledgeable staff I’ve ever encountered. They all remembered our names and wee incredibly helpful and kind. Beautiful property. Lots of fun activities and a great beach for chillaxing.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Incredible location. Amazing staff. Exceptional service. Delicious food. Sustainable and eco friendly. Beautiful property. Located where the rainforest meets the ocean. Magical place.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice combination of shade and sun. Lounge chairs and hammocks.
Cons: The beach is kind of steep so the lounge chairs were difficult to keep level so you didn't feel like you were sliding out. A wedge for leveling would be a nice amenity
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property. Private beach. Situated on edge of jungle. Lots of wildlife viewing onsite. Laundry services and a la carte breakfast included.
Cons: very steep, narrow road to enter.

Boutique Hotel Located in Manuel Antonio, one of the most beautiful places in Costa Rica, amazing views from all our suites and personalized service to all our guests. We are an adults only property, a relaxing stay is guaranteed
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was amazing!!! The rooms, the food, the view everything! We stayed for 3 nights I wish we'd stayed longer, not only did we have an amazing room etc but when we we're lying around the pool there were monkeys an array of birds and a sloth! It was just amazing would recommend this hotel to anyone.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities were beautiful. The staff was amazing.
Cons: There's no real separation between the toilet and the room. Fine for us, but some may not like it. There was a separate bathroom right outside.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view ! Food was excellent, worth every penny. Staff is very friendly and helpful, specially Alexander! He made sure we were happy the entire time. The beds were so comfy , my husband wanted to bring one home.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Small personal attention was great. Very clean throughout.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms, ocean view, staff was friendly, owner was friendly and helpful, private access to beach, nice pool, good cocktails.
Cons: The omelette in the breakfast.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The room was just incredible! Panorama view of the ocean (and sunset) overlooking the jungle. Amazing pool and sunlounge area with great views, excellent pool. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, evetything very clean. Shuttle service to beach and shopping area. There are only few rooms therefore there is no mass tourism.
Cons: Lunch and Dinner is much too expensive. But very good quality of food.
4,2 Okay
Pros: View and location
Cons: Most everything, old hotel, ants all over the place, including our bed. Insanely over priced coffee in the room ($33 for four capsules of coffee...) And on. Really, unless you have no other choice...
7,9 Good
Pros: - very nice and spacious room with a truly fantastic view - staff very helpful for organizing trips - nice pool area
Cons: The room rates are actually like a 5* hotel, but the hotel fails to deliver on certain element in accordance with that pricing level, eg - breakfast only with cheap filter coffee (if u wanna have a proper coffee, that makes $5 extra) - overall the breakfast was good, but as it’s a la carte, the choice isn’t to broad - this was the first hotel in my life where the coffee machine in the room did cost money ($2,5 for a filter coffee, $5 for a capsule coffee) Overall, I think that the hotel management is trying to squeeze out some money from their guests where it’s actually a bit ridiculous
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was amazing! Staff was great. Amazing view!!!! Loved it
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Ilvo, who is the personable, warm owner, and his staff, were exceptional. They made us feel like we were at home. They encouraged us to explore and they served our every need. The staff was so kind and willing to please. Thanks Luis Carlo, Francisco and Grindr! Yet, they were sincere and approachable. All of them spoke excellent English. The food for breakfast was very tasty and filling. It was nice that they changed up the breakfasts every day which is unusual for a breakfast included place. The added bonus was the New Year’s eve dinner that was included in our stay. We would definitely recommend this place for anybody traveling to Costa Rica. I’ve been to Costa Rica over 20 times and can say that this is one of our best stays. It’s away from the beaten plant but close enough to enjoy the other shops and restaurants in the area with a short walk or ride. It was lovely to wake up and go to bed with the toucans right outside our veranda. Also, we enjoyed seeing the scarlet macaws come home around 5 PM. In addition, we saw white faced monkeys. We really liked the fact that the owners and staff encouraged guests not to feed them. They are very ecologically minded. That is why we come to Costa Rica.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: I can’t say enough about the facility, the staff and the the food here at Issimo. The first night we were greeted by the owner and the staff have been simply amazing. The food is fresh and delicious. The grounds are very clean and we have only good things to say about this Boutique hotel. Location is great and close to anything in Manuel Antonio. I would recommend in a heartbeat.
Cons: Nothing we didn’t like. It is a little on the higher end price wise but it’s worth the stay. Only small thing would be the sunset. There is a rolling hill that blocks the total view but you can easily watch it from the beach or a one of the cafes down the street.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Wonderful stay! Professional and friendly staff - a special word of thanks to Geiner for positive customer approach

5,4 Okay
Pros: Overpriced for the facilities.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: Didnt realize there was a tour of the property
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Gaia is located on a hill with incredible views from the bar/ restaurant. Highly recommend watching the sunset from the restaurant. It was amazing! Also, the private reserve is incredible. We did the free tour run by Juan and it was honestly better than any of the paid tours we did in the national parks. The story behind the reserve and the owner Boris, who very kindly greeted us, is also very inspiring. Couldn’t recommend it more. Last but not least, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome. Sirit and Nancy at reception are the best. They made our stay so comfortable by sorting out all our requests/ questions and even had a little package of food ready for us when we left to drive to our next destination. The buggy staff were also so helpful taking us around the property and providing towels when we went to the beach. An added bonus is the free shuttle to Manuel Antonio.
Cons: There was some machinery like a generator running near the room at night so it was a bit noisy. Would be nice to have a kettle in the room as the room had tea bags but no hot water for the tea.
7,5 Good
Pros: The pools are really nice and the shuttle service is very good if you do not have a car but only runs till late afternoon. Rooms are nice but there is a bit of wear and tear. Good hotel but not 5 star.
Cons: Breakfast could be better.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning views, excellent hotel and impeccable customer service. Triple threat hotel.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Very quaint luxurious accommodation and the best restaurant in town!!!

Pros: Very accommodating, I was sick on arrival and they allowed me to check in really early to rest.
Cons: TV didn’t work, but didn’t need it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The setting, with beautiful gardens and fantastic rooms- made even better by the lovely staff.
Cons: Nothing
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and professional. The gardens were lovely with iguanas, howling monkeys and capuchins. There were even tame agoutis. The cabins were secure and comfortable. The frequent local bus stopped near the hotel entrance which made getting to the Nature Reserve cheap and easy. The breakfast was good and the evening meals excellent.
Cons: I've given them a high score on most things. There is nothing that they can do about the location but the ease of bus access compensates for this.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: -Friendly helpful staff who speak English & Spanish very well -Delicious breakfast included -Large rooms, with fan and AC, safe, hairdryer -short walk to restaurants -right next to the bus stop for the bus that takes you to/from the beach -very quiet during the evening and morning hours -bonus: lots of wildlife on the property! We saw monkeys, agoutis, a sloth, and iguanas!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel. I traveled with my elder parents. Staff was specially kind with them. I was concerned about the size of the swimming pool, but even in a peak season, it was never crowded.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were amazing especially luis. Thanks for you loving kindness guys
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We were only there for 1 night. The room was large and comfortable. Our room faced the road, but it did not bother us at night
Cons: Breakfast service could have been quicker, we were in a hurry and it took a while for them to take our order.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: loved this hotel. staff were super friendly, food excellent but the highlight was the close up views of monkeys, iguanas and agouti, better than being in the National Park
Cons: only criticism was the lack of sunbeds in the shade around the pool areas
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Offers everything you need to enjoy Manuel Antonio.
6,2 Good
Pros: Staff Location View Comfort
Cons: Run down old style deco low value for money given the price Lots of few defective things in the room needs a serious refit
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Si Como No is the perfect hotel! The views from the rooms are spectacular, and we looked forward to sunrise and sunset on the balcony each day. Our room was comfortable and spacious with a very cozy bed. The breakfast is delicious - que rico! The staff at the hotel are incredibly welcoming and helpful. An issue arose with one of the tours that we had booked through a third party, but they were able to help us resolve it and get the shuttle to the hotel promptly. The hotel grounds and pools are quite nice, but it was difficult to find the time to spend enjoying them due to the convenient beach shuttle that was available until sundown. The hotel is located right on the main road within walking distance (no sidewalks) to various restaurants and shops. We had an ideal stay from start to finish, and I know I will be back in the future.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Nice view, accommodations were good. Food was great. Staff were super friendly.
Cons: No beach access.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The spacious room great view, nice pool and wildlife. Very helpful staff.
Cons: Lay out a bit confusing especially in dark Parking awkward. The cheaper of the 2 restaurants wasn't good value for the mediocre food, and the chairs were very uncomfortable
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel is really nice, the view is excellent. All people that work there are super friendly. The Interieur in the room is a little bit old fashion, but it was in a really good condition. We loved the breakfast, and the swimming pool :) extra plus!
Cons: It’s not about the hotel but in general about the place. There are a lot of Americans. Therefore, a lot of restaurants and other touristic places, are exactly made for their needs. It’s less about the feeling to be in Costa Rica, and more about the feeling to be somewhere at the West Coast.

7,0 Good
Pros: The staff are very friendly.
Cons: Ants in the room.
1,0 Poor
Cons: That bathrooms do not have proper shower doors or curtains. The shower has jets that shoot straight at the wall. Water gets everywhere. I slipped and fell on my hip. The staff was bossy and unconcerned. I literally couldn’t walk up the stairs and was harassed for sitting in my car to talk to my kid. I hate this place and will try to file a claim for my injury.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: EVERYTHING. The localisation is perfect you are near the best place of quepos, you just have to take a quick bus to arrive in Manuel Antonio Park. The hosts are the best hosts, always here to help you, very very kind, excellent food, beautiful appartments, nice swimmingpool. Perfection.
Cons: NOTHING (Just don't go in Banana Club (the closest restaurant) it's really disgusting)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We booked the tree house and it was like living right into the jungle. Very special. The staff is super friendly and their homemade pizza was one of the best we ever ate.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We love the service. The staff was excellent. They had ideas and suggestions for activities and general information. The property is well set out and private. It felt safe. It is easy to maneuver. It has a nice area for relaxing, eating, swimming, reading and listening to music. Atmosphere was awesome.
Cons: The walk to our specific rooms was quite steep. It was a climb to get there. It was slippery in the rain but loved the site and privacy.

Pros: Location and staff
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Right at the entrance of the park and the meeting point for rainforest night tour, very convenient if you are a fan of nature. Breathtaking view at the restaurant for breakfast. Breakfast was also delicious.
Cons: Poor WIFI connection
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff was super friendly and helpful!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the place. Our room, a junior suite, was large and had great facilities - desk, settee, safe, AC, fridge, a huge and comfortable bed, and excellent WiFi. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. The best thing by far though was the fact that IOTP guests could use the facilities of the El Faro Beach Hotel, and the infinity pool and the area around the pool were superb. Yes, it's up a steep hill, but the views are amazing and you are encouraged to phone at any time and be driven up and down in one of the hotel's electric buggies. Location is fantastic, just meters away from the National Park entrance and only a few hundred meters away from the beautiful beach.
Cons: Whilst I marked this as a 10, there was one thing that was disappointing ... the shower was next to useless; hot one moment, cold the next, and then repeat. Having read earlier reviews, it's obviously not a new problem, so it's a shame that nothing has been done about it. Also, the room wasn't serviced during our 3 day stay. Not really a problem, as we like to retain our towels to avoid unnecessary washing, but it was a little surprising that the bathroom bin wasn't emptied each day.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Friedly staff. Very clean. The pool view is great
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The National Park Manuel Antonio is amazing , wild animals and beautiful beaches.
6,3 Good
Pros: Staff was friendly and provided great recommendations for food. Golf cart for short transfers was great and especially a blessing when going up hill to El Faro for breakfast. Service staff was helpful when we requested fresh towels. The room was nice and big.
Cons: Took us a bit to find the reception which was the same for another hotel. Noticed there was a 'for sale by owner' sign on the hotel which may explain the unkept nature of several things. E.g. the bathroom vanity top was stained and dirty. The sink faucet was loose and almost came off. Same issue with the shower sliding door. The linen (bed cover and flat sheet) had holes. I was very disappointed by the state of the room given the price.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Close to entrance of Manuel Antonio National Park. Pacific view from top swimming pool is amazing. View from restaurant is amazing. Spacious room with full kitchen and living area. Spacious bathroom. Golf cart service to reduce amount of stair climbing.
Cons: Older property in need of repair. Lots of uphill stairs from lower unit to top of hill for swimming pool and restaurant.
6,7 Good
Pros: The top swimming pool, the location, the view from the breakfast area. Good a/c
Cons: No WiFi in the rooms, No towels in the room when we came The extra bed wasn’t made in spite of I reminded them three times. They forgot to clean the room one day The toilets were absolutely useless in both of our rooms The safe didn’t work (mended after telling them though) The lamp at bed was not working and not mended in spite of reminding No hangers in wardrobes (got 4 after asking)

Pros: Everything. Room was incredible, as was the view. Pool great. Staff really helpful. Could see a sloth by reception and monkeys from the balcony. Location good as next to a supermarket and a few restaurants but slightly far from Manuel Antonio itself and the beach. Incredible value for money.
Cons: Nothing really, in the morning there were lots of cars down the track and being without a car ourselves a few taxis were needed.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved our balcony with its gorgeous view and outdoor dining area. Beautiful living room/kitchen and bedroom with A/C. Nice pool very close to our unit. Henry was amazing...so welcoming and helpful, making sure all our needs were met. Also pointed out the resident sloth for us

Pros: Nice big room with kitchen and balcony. The pool was great and the room and bathroom were all clean!!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: This place was an absolute paradise. View of ocean from balcony, 2 sloths in a tree right by the pool and viewable from our balcony, monkeys visited us right on our balcony, comfortable beds, kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Only downside is ants come if you leave food out. Part of jungle living that I don't think you can avoid. We put everything in fridge and cleaned up right away and had no problem. Management said they would treat right away.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in an upper unit and talk about a view! We overlooked the ocean, Manuel Antonio park and felt like we lived on top of a mountain. We were impressed with the staff. So friendly, accommodating and remembered us each day. Great pool for the kids. Very close to awesome restaurants and breakfast place. We will be back!

Pros: The big space in the room + the balcony
Cons: The steep stairs to climb up (no lift)

Pros: The hotel is on a hill overlooking the beach and grants spectacular views of the sunset and the national park. The facilities are well maintained and has an appropriate style. The thermal insulation is good (we turned A/C on for a bit and the room stayed cool for a long time).
Cons: The beach is a bit of a walk from the hotel ~15min down a hill.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This place was an absolute dream. The room was great, the pool was great, the location was great. There is something magical about seeing monkeys, sloths and toucans from your balcony. I would go back in a heartbeat!
Cons: There was absolutely nothing that I didn't like.

Cons: It can't be helped but man those hills are killers!!!!
3,0 Mediocre
Cons: This is NOT A good location for travelers without a car. The hotel complex is very large and built on a hill. It is a 10-minute walk to any pool and longer from some locations to the pool they advertise as their premier pool with a view. (there is no jacuzzi or hot tub) . Only one restaurant is on-site and it is open for breakfast (not included in price) from 6:30-11:00 each day. the hotel owns other (expensive) restaurants nearby and they do provide transportation. The premier pool does not have a bar or option for een a glass of water. Although the website claims they provide for fee shuttles to/from the airport and around the area, THEY DO NOT! There are many beautiful units overlooking the ocean, many are on a side busy road, ask before you book. Our unit was older (although pleasant enough), but lacked some basics, coffee for the coffee pot, hand towels, kleenex tissues, and pool towels are NOT provided. Lastly, after 10 days in Costa Rica being warmly greeted at each stop, it was a total shock to be greeted like we were an inconvenience. When we asked for suggestions for local sites, they pointed to a table with binders, no encouragement or effort to even be pleasant. There were usually 2-3 men huddled in a back corner on their computers or cell phones and yes, they would respond when requested, but a total lack of the typical Costa Rican hospitality. The potential is there, but we suggest hospitality re-boot because the area is beautiful....

Pros: Hotel in the forest with a lot of animals...beautiful pools....quite rooms....
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The view
Cons: The breakfast was not included even if we paid a high price for the night
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location and views from the room are very nice. Sunset from the deck is spectacular. We saw several monkeys and even a Toucan from the deck. Restaurant is good
Cons: Fairly long walk from the hotel to the beach (15 minutes), with quite a slope.

Pros: This hotel has seen better times. Nice pool. On site bar and restaurant. Good location.
Cons: This hotel has seen better times. The buildings are nice with good front porch and back balcony and nice pool and restaurant area. However, the rooms desperately need some maintenance. And the bath room needs more professional cleaning. Overall inside of the room feels shabby even though the exteriors are beautiful. The staff is friendly and helpful but the owner or manager (the only one speaks English) was not very helpful, did not seem want to be bothered.
7,0 Good
Pros: The swimming pool is great. The location is close to the park
Cons: There was no place in the room to put the suitcase. No drawers or shelves to put clothing. Under the bed it was dirty.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Great location
Cons: Cleaning level
7,9 Good
Pros: Lovely pool with a great team working the property.
Cons: I could not get a WiFi signal on my phone in the room.
4,2 Okay
Cons: The manager and his friends were drunk all the time - no matter if it was late at night, or early in the morning. We could smell the alcohol off their breath a few feet away. He was also very rude, and needs a course in hospitality
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel near Manuel Antonio Parque. Food is good and portions are good too. The staff is friendly and always happy to help you out. The swimming pool is really big the rooms are big too. Nice quiet location
Cons: The rooms could have a updgrade in terms of quality.

Pros: The Hotel is nice, the staff is nice, nice pool, they have good options for the free breakfast.
Cons: The Hotel is nice, the staff is nice, but they made an additional charge to my debit card of $90 and I still haven't received any news about the devolution of the money. I contacted the hotel and booking.com regarding this matter, and both told me that the Hotel did not made the charge, but the bank statement says otherwise. I asked other people on the tourism business and they told me unfortunately this hotel is know for this extra charges.
7,5 Good
Pros: The.food was really expensive
5,8 Okay
Pros: The hotel is in a good location and allowed for easy access to Manuel Antonio. It's pool was fine, and the margaritas at the hotel's bar were good. It also allows for you to order out food, have it delivered, and eat it in the restaurant as long as you buy drinks. This was good.
Cons: The hotel is in disrepair, the lights in one bathroom simply didn't work (the switch was broken and missing), another bathroom had a hole in the tile, there were ants randomly cruising through, and some areas smelled funny. The hotel is ridiculously understaffed, leading to some rude moments where the staff just ignored people.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice little restaurant and very excellent staff. Nice pool and I saw a sloth!
Cons: Nothing really.

Pros: Such a beautiful property I will definitely be back!

Pros: Great location. Excellent Breakfast. Huge apartment layout. Elevator opens into your suite.

Cons: N/A

Pros: The staff, the room and the facilities were great, breakfast was delicious and it was a really quiet and peaceful place to relax. They are pet friendly (they accept pets of 15 kg max) so that is great as well. This is definitely my top choice whenever I go to Manuel Antonio.

Pros: Small personal attention was great. Very clean throughout.

Pros: We were only there for 1 night. The room was large and comfortable. Our room faced the road, but it did not bother us at night
Cons: Breakfast service could have been quicker, we were in a hurry and it took a while for them to take our order.
