This hotel has been around for a long time so their space is old and not updated. Looks like the same carpet they opened with throughout the hotel. The bathroom had delaminating shower walls and cracked floors, different colored lights in room, stains on floor, closet doors did not work due to screws up on floor door guide so it wasn’t level. TV made an odd buzzing sound. Hanger was left on the shelf in the closet with a nail out. Although the location is 10/10, the experience staying is not all that comfortable. If you don’t care about staying in a hotel that doesn’t look like they’ve done much since they opened in the late 1950’s, you should be fine.
A
6.2 Okay
Pros:The hotel food was good and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable.
Cons:The hotel is old. Needs a good update. But the rooms were clean and comfortable.
A
6.0 Okay
Pros:Super close to lift at main lodge, staff was nice, tv is modern, mini fridge, WiFi
Cons:Where do I start? Room is way too small for two double beds, no couch, closet door wouldn’t open, large gap under door, old old old, needs new everything. Restaurant is pricey.
A
8.0 Very Good
Pros:Location
Cons:Dated building and amenities
A
2.0 Poor
Pros:Drive into facility was pretty.
Cons:Old and worn. Very large hairball attached to water spicket in shower. No air/no heat. Floor dirty. Elevator very rickity. Lipstick on a pig! Anywhere else $35 room.
A
7.1 Good
Pros:Desk staff and restaurant staff were accommodating
Cons:In the annex on the first floor, you can hear every footstep of people in the rooms above. Rooms were stuffy. No AC and opening the window was not enough.
A
4.2 Mediocre
Cons:No A/C! Very noisy - music was playing outside the ENTIRE night. Old. Not very comfortable, although the staff was nice.
A
9.7 Wonderful
Pros:I love the closeness to the lifts and the ski school. This is THE place to stay if you have kids. Our room was near the hot tub & warm pool area. The lobby and bar area were perfect ski lodge style ( high ceilings, antler chandeliers, stone work). Free DVD rental for a quiet night in your room after skiing all day. Magnificent views!
Cons:Older, limited food choices.
A
8.0 Very Good
Pros:The location was great! It was right in front of the lift. The hotel also seemed really clean. It was also near the lodge and a restaurant.
Cons:There weren't enough covered parking spaces and it snowed heavily. We also had to walk from the covered parking to the hotel in the snow with our suitcase because there wasn't a covered walkway.
A
8.2 Very Good
Pros:Location was awesome! Being able to walk a few steps from your room to the ski lifts was amazing. Other then being on the older side, it's a great place. The staff was great and we enjoyed all the restaurants/bars the hotel has to offer.
Cons:My biggest complaint is that the hotel does not offer a in room safe for personal belongings. It wouldn't have been a big deal but we were on the first floor and our window did not lock. Making it possible to be opened from the outside. We didn't have any issues but it was a bit alarming while we were out on the slopes all day.
