Pros: Outstanding location, excellent newly refurbished room in a historic building, polite personnel eager to help, gorgeous spa facilities, magnificent massages and rich breakfast with a wide range of dishes, fruits, youghurts and drinks.
Cons: -Noisy and rude guests that spoiled our spa experience I wish there were boards with rules everywhere and personnel were not afraid to impose them on ”pigs” who stick into the jacuzzi tub like herring in the can. I saw 8 people rubbing shoulders in a 3m x 3m tub. A plump Polish woman was yelling like a wounded whale: “Jaaaanek! Jaaaaaanek” for 3 minutes to her 150 kg boyfriend who was 25 meters away from her. Apparently he didn’t hear as he was splashing wildly under the big tap driving all other guests out from the pool. Another lady didn’t bother with finding a free long chair and simply threw our towels away. I still remember her grin when I asked her to back away. Unfortunately personnel didn’t do anything with these offenses. - There were no water buckets in saunas. I wanted to add more steam - 1 of 3 big showering tabs was out of order - Jacuzzi operated only in one mode. Last time we were able to activate 3 different modes.

Pros: The location is just great, right in the middle of the actions and super great restaurants and 3 minute walk to Opera. The best breakfast in Ukraine with fresh juice and super variety of fresh products
Cons: The price tag of lux room is too high (usd 300 per night) and it still has no bath tub (only shower) SPA is somewhat strange, dark and loomy with cold water in the pool. Very dangerous to step off from Jacuzzi not to fall into small pool.

Pros: Breakfast was ok, but the restaurants inside the hotel look awful. They look like Location is very good. The hotel is quite old, only a few rooms/apartments are renovated.
Cons: Cleaning wasn't great. We were surprised that they are not cleaning everything every day, only changing towels and refreshing bed. For example we left dirty glasses and they were not cleaned or replaced.

Pros: Maids did a great job. They had brought me an iron and ironing board to my room almost immediately after I requested it. Room extremely clean
Cons: No microwave or refrigerator in the room. They advertise a panoramic room on the 9th floor but you cannot access it because is always booked for private parties. they use it to make the hotel more appealing so you book a room but when you get there it can be rented out by individuals and you cannot access it

Pros: Interesting to stay in a character building where you can get a bit of a feel for the history. Lots of tripping hazards in the form of 3 inch lips at the front entrance and throughout the building. The carpets needed replacing badly. You could see and feel the rough, broken tiles that the carpeting was sloppily placed over. The front staff were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

Pros: The hotel is within the historic centre of Lviv, and comfortable; some may find it old-fashioned, but I thought it was a pleasant change from the concrete and glass variety. The staff were all very helpful, and had arranged a transfer from the railway station (some way out of the centre). Owing to transport difficulties in Germany, I had to rebook my stay twice, and the staff were very helpful and understanding about this.
