Pros: Not there long, but breakfast and attention to our needs was excellent
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a lovely hotel just packed with history. The staff could not have been more helpful or kind; my room was perfect. I wish I could have stayed here longer to enjoy the gorgeous garden. Can’t comment on the restaurants, as the only meal I ate here was breakfast, which was absolutely fine. Hope to come back soon!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: An excellent hotel with a history. The location is perfect with a nice view on the river Nile and very close to the center. The hotel 'breathes' luxury and exclusivity. The hotel being a historic place adds to the experience. I love the old victorian style with the high ceilings and chandeliers. It also has a spacious and beautifull garden with an open air restaurant.
Cons: The old style might not be for everyones taste, and as a casual dresser I felt a bit out of place sometimes. But that didn't seem to bother the nice staff who treated me with all respect and great service. Also when looking at some details, (mainly on the oustside, drainpipes and elevator) there could be bit more attention to maintenance.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staffs are very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The region is not so good. When I walked outside to a nearby ATM, I was approached by a local guy trying to sell his boat trip. After I said I have no interest, he was just following me all the way and asking me for money. He only stopped when I was back to the hotel. Also be careful about the taxi in the region. We took a taxi to airport from the hotel and we agreed with the driver to pay 250 EGP. But we approached airport, he was about to drop us off at a gate that was 10min walk from the airport, and he insisted us to pay him 50 EGP more to drop us off at the airport. That was 10pm at night. Worried about safety we paid him 300EGP. That was not much money, but the experience was really bad.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Simply wonderful! A transition to far more elegant times.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else. My room was $104 AUD. That wouldn't book me a hovel in Australia.
Cons: The lift is old school and very noisy when it stops and starts. Plus it has a swinging door that bangs. I had a room not far from lift and a large group checked in early morning so constant banging meant I had to stay up till 2 am while they all good sorted. I love that it is old, classic with history and great value but maybe a new elevator is in order, or maybe oil the existing one.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It is a magnificent hotel. It has a beautiful location. It has outstanding service.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely charming colonial style hotel with an exceptional staff. The level of service and kindness of the staff is outstanding. The food is very high quality. Great location next to Luxor temple. Beautiful gardens and pool.

Pros: very good location

Pros: Absolutely stunning grounds created an oasis of tranquility and beauty.

Pros: Everything was really amazing. Don't even think about another place. You can walk to luxor temple in 5 minutes, gardens are spectacular. Pool incredible, good breakfasts and the cleanest hotel. They clean the room twice a a day, it's immaculate! Thank you for the very best time. Luxor and Eygpt is incredible. I travelled alone as a woman and felt safe at all times!
Cons: It was amazing there was nothing I didn't like!

Pros: it is like a vacation hotel, there is a very good garden and nice swimming pool. But it is clean
Cons: It is a little old .
4,0 Okay
Pros: The location is fantastic. The hotel garden is also fabulous, we really like it.
Cons: Ridiculous hotel, we had two same rooms, one with security locker the other not, one got the diner menu the other still not. The staffs were really disappointing, really slow check-in & check-out, keep messing around the travel documents, breakfast omelet guy never keep the omelet that you order, plus the few selection of breakfast, you need to ask for hot water for tea or coffee. Their so-called fancy restaurant doesn't allow short pants, but please, look around your messy surrounding with all those horse-shit smell, plus it's only serving normal pasta and steaks. Here comes the funny part, one daily excursion that the hotel arranges costs 140 EURO PER PERSON, while the same one that the travel agency at the front entrance arranges costs 70 USD each plus a Chinese guide. Taxi to the airport requires 50 EURO from the hotel, same travel agency only costs 220 EGP which equals 13 EURO. Well done, bravo.
9,6 Excellent
Cons: The food in the restaurants, NOT in accordance with a 5 star hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: great garden with a wonderful pool, beautiful place great value for money, great location really friendly staff
Cons: the view was not the greatest, should ask for front garden view not the best breakfast, not a big diversity and the food has no taste

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Room was perfect , such an awesome view and an amazing breeze , room was in very good shape
Cons: The food, the buffet is just redicilous bad to be honest , it was Indian night and honestly I don’t understand why make 15 tasteless dishes , just make 2 or 3 good dishes. Was just very disappointing to be honest

7,9 Good
Pros: Very friendly and graceful hostess at Breakfast restaurant.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are so friendly and helpful. My partner's bag was slightly damaged during our travels and the concierge team at the hilton went above and beyond and got it repaired for us in a few hours. The check in staff and room service staff were so friendly and made sure we had enough supplies in the room. The staff at Rosetta, Ahmed and their team managing the breakfast was so friendly and attentive. Mohamed at Diwan sheesha and Mahmoud & team at Olives Restaurant were so friendly and attentive to us. The bar manager at the pool during happy hour makes the most beautiful cocktails with fresh and unusual ingredients like cardamon. Definitely a must try. A huge thank you to the hilton staff for making our stay in luxor so memorable and welcoming.
Cons: Nothing. It is a beautiful experience.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff went the extra mile for us every time
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Spacious and comfortable room. Wonderfull pool area with good service. Special kudos to the pool boys for the good service and the constant hard work. Breakfast buffet offers quite some choice and is good in quality. Food in the restaurants is decent: not exceptionally good but quite ok for a few days.
Cons: Impossible to sleep in. Can’t keep the light out fully so for me that meant waking up at 6 am. Also, the doors in the hallway make a lot of noise when closing so as of 5 am there’s constant sounds interrupting sleep. Staff is generally very friendly but we did have some weird situations concerning our half board. First, at the reception, they told us we were not allowed to eat in the Asian Silk Road restaurant with our half board arrangement. We thought that was weird, because that was not specified anywhere in the half board details. So we walked into the Silk Road restaurant and asked again, and the waiter there told us it was perfectly possible and that there was a separate menu available to choose from for half board visitors. Second, given that the a la carte restaurant was closed due to renovations, they told us at the reception that you could order a la carte in the buffet restaurant. Yet, when we walked in and asked the waiters, they said it was impossible. Yet a few days later, we did see other people ordering specific requests to the chef directly. So it was indeed possible. All in all, i would not recommend taking half board. There’s no price advantage compared to just paying on the spot, and the staff clearly tries to limit your options and push you towards the buffet option only.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The place was just amazing.. the views of the river, the staff . Can’t say anything negative about the place. It was superb
Cons: Really nothing I’d have to be real picky to come up with one . But why should I, I loved the place
10,0 Excellent
Pros: All the hotel was beautiful, very good customer service and was very pleased with the quality of the hotel
Cons: Everything was excellent

Pros: This is a beautiful, quiet and clean property with lovely views, friendly staff and a very good breakfast. I also appreciate the reception allowing me to check in early as I had an early morning flight.

Pros: It is average.
Cons: Many motorcycles inside the hotel, even between the rooms using the golf car routes, which can be dangerous if you have kids. It seemed like it belongs to the staff as their security were OK with them.

Pros: Great location, smiling & very helpful staff, the selection of food at breakfast & dinner. Best place to relax in Luxor.
Cons: They have a nice big gym but unfortunately the airco didn't work ! I know from other guests who stayed there that it has been ongoing sinds quite some time... What a pity they give it so little attention.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, Location, Location! Best view of the Nile possible from the lovely infinity pool - amazing Incredible value for money. Staff very friendly and attentive, refilling pot of tea!
Cons: Nothing, maybe a bit tired, but forget the rooms they are not what it is about. Had problems with door key, but minor stuff!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We always love this place, perfect
9,4 Excellent
Pros: the place was lovely- clean, manicured. super adorable cats all over the place :) the food was amazing- the buffet breakfast and dinner were great. everyone working there was very kind and considerate.
Cons: two things i did not like at all 1) they spray some kind of toxic fumes every night to kill mosquitoes. it's horrible- when it gets sprayed a huge cloud overtakes the entire place and takes a good 20 minutes to settle. we would go in our room and put the towel on the floor to try to keep it out of our room but it would seep into the cracks. this is horrible and i wish they would not do it 2) the internet connection there was not good at all. we got it sometimes- but it was not reliable enough for anyone who has regular work to do that needs reliable internet.

The view on the river Nile from the terrace of the restaurant is great. There are very tasty and big servings of food. There is friendly and sociable staff.
Cons: It is very difficult to find a hotel from the street without the help of local residents. It would be nice to hang out from the main street the hotel sign!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: First, I was upgraded to the gelzira garden hotel so my review is about that one (same owners, more luxury). The gelzira garden has a great staff and serves excellent breakfast(best so far..). Their dinner is good value and also excellent, there is a bar and a pool and everything is clean and in working order. Most importantly they really try to make their guests comfortable, so western style customer focus...
Cons: Nothing really

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Garden and freshness. We feel very comfortable, when sleeping (for tourists it’s very important)
Cons: We like everything, but want to wish something about breakfast. In this country wonderful and cheap fruits, add it in the porridge for example. Cheese (hohland) is not a good idea:)))) super primitive and not a specific
5,0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was standard. We ordered more tea and had to pay extra. So just be aware of this. The garden was beautiful as shown on the website
Cons: We do think that we were over charged for the trip to "the valley of the kings" as this is realy not that far.. We also paid 20 EP for water that costed 5 EP in the small shop in the village
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The service is very good and helpful
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable and relaxing with a good location, as a hotel this place ticks off all the boxes. The garden is a beautiful place to getaway from the Luxor tourist mayhem.
Cons: It sometimes felt like the staff were hawking us to sell tours and taxi rides (the latter for extortionate amounts) - or simply to ask for a tip. We felt a little uncomfortable. Airconditioning was too loud to use. There was a misunderstanding about the bill we felt could've been solved better.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Never had breakfast and location is great access to ferry. Ahmed drove me for 2 days and he was wonderful.
Cons: I liked everything
7,9 Good
Pros: A truly Egyptian experience which is what I wanted. Loved the garden courtyard restaurant and the hum of activity there. Loved the house man who enjoyed making towel shapes! There's a good library and indoor dining area which we didn't need to use. The plants in the garden are tagged for identification which is helpful. Breakfast included was very good. Good to have on site restaurant. Easy walk to the banks of the Nile through the village street is interesting and safe. My taxi needed to get directions from villagers to find the property but it's well known in the district. The ferry across to the other bank is within easy walking distance making this a good place to stay to explore the important sites on both banks of the Nile.
Cons: Menu prices were a bit high for what was offered.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Ahmed and Mohamed (father and son) helped us with everything we needed. They made us feel at home. They’re building a wonderful new wing in the hotel that will be finished soon. A great example of hard work and dedication. If you want to have a real Egyptian experience Amin is much more recommended than the big international hotels that lack soul.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The owner of the hotel treated us like we were part of his family. Because of his generosity we were able to watch a funeral procession, attend a wedding party, and have tea at his daughter-in-law‘s house. We truly felt like we were part of the West Bank family in Luxor! He also arrange for us to be able to go swimming at a local 5 star hotel and have dinner at their establishment To sum up we had the trip of a lifetime and enjoyed every minute with our Egyptian family. Shokran Ahmed!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was yoghurt, bananas, tea, nescafe, omelet or eggs. and bread and butter and jam. Having bananas, yoghurt and omelet made a sustaining breakfast. in the delightful garden and friendly waiter, Hassan.
Cons: I would have liked a window to see out. There were two but with mandatory shutters to keep the aircon effective.

Pros: The hotel is huge but old. Rooms are however good, clean, cozy and comfortable. Reception staff were very nice. The restaurant is mesmerizing with its pharaonic décor. As for transportation, you can either arrange it through the hotel or take a taxi at the hotel door.
Cons: Staff except for the Reception area are not nice or welcoming to Egyptians. Food is not upto 5 stars hotels.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very peaceful since it’s private grounds. The location is pretty perfect. Nile views from the pool area, close to Luxor and Karnak temples, the airport, and close to the downtown area too with just a short taxi ride. The room is spacious, VERY comfortable bed. Pool area is clean, nice and quite. Bar staff very attentive.
Cons: Food was below average so we opted to eat out most of the time. Housekeeping didn’t do a very good job at dusting the room. Bathroom fixtures and furniture seems to be outdated. The spa and fitness area is pretty much like an abandoned area. Went their once and left because there was no one to attend to us.

Pros: The staff was very nice, the room was clean, the bed was very big and comfortable, the food was very good and the hotel is nearby the nile ferry. The pool was very nice.
Cons: The only thing that I think they could improve was the signs for the guests because we felt a little bit lost sometimes inside the building.
6,3 Good
Pros: The hotel restaurant on the rooftop serve good food and nice view of the River Nile. Staff are friendly and good price for laundry service.
Cons: Room very basic. No kettle in room. The WC in our room didn’t work on 2 occasions.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: It’s a good hotel, with a nice swimming pool and many facilities . The breakfast it’s very good and the location is the best, good prices at restaurant even in alcohol drinks. It’s in front of Luxor Temples , crossing the Nile . Just need use the ferry and 5 Egiptian pound but it’s more quite and friendly that part of Luxor. You can find pharmacies, stores, restaurants so close and avoid all the sellers, cars and noise.
Cons: My room was so good but had a little bad smell, I’m not sure if was the bathroom. It was the first in front of swimming pool.
5,4 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: The guy at the reception lied to us “forgetting” to mention there was no water in the room. The guy at the restaurant tried to buy twice the dinner... no discount for the bad accommodations and for the fact there was no water at all !! The owner should be angry on local people who threat so bad the tourists
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing views and staff. Pool perfect temperature. Owner lovely.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, the owner Karin is a very nice and helpful woman ! She sent someone until the train station to give me back a jewellery lost in the room. Never forget this honestly. 100% quiet, clean et the food was amazing !
Cons: Nothing !
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had the most amazing 3 night stay at this family run hotel. It’s situated on the west bank close to tombs etc. and apart from the taxi drivers and boat owners wanting your business it was out of the hustle and bustle which was a plus for us as we prefer to stay where the locals live. About 100m to incredibly cheap ferry fare to east side and then walking distance to museum. The large room with balcony was really clean with thoughtful touches like a large cake of soap and extra toilet paper. The pool looked very clean and inviting. We also ate at the restaurant which was fine. We’ve been in Egypt 3weeks, from the Sinai to the south and this hotel is by far the best in which we’ve stayed, and fantastic value.
Cons: The wifi was average, not only a problem with this hotel but seems endemic to Egypt.

Pros: I like the location of the hotel behind Luxor temple, near the boat station going to west bank, near the market and near to luxor train station. The balcony has a good view, you will take your breakfast in the balcony with a beautiful scenery in the morning (the hot air ballon in the west bank) , nile river and luxor temple.
Cons: No slippers in the room and sometimes no electricity for few minutes not only in the hotel but in luxor area because i experience also a brownout in McDonald while i’m taking my lunch (mcdo is near luxor temple)
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The property was a great experience, exactly what you want to feel when traveling to see the ancient city of Thebes. The rooftop seating allows for a jaw dropping view of the Temple, Nile and the Mountains. I would stay here every time. They also organized great trips for us and the value was fantastic
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great. Very comfortable room, good simple hotel but with everything you need. Location is perfect, could not be better. The roof terrace is probably the best part, beautiful place to chill, eat, have a drink, watch the sunset or sunrise. I would stay here again if I come back to Luxor. Staff are really nice and helpful. all of them especially Mostafa at the reception.
Cons: Zero complaints but if they had a swimming pool it would be really perfect.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Good location, comfortable bed & friendly / helpful staff
Cons: Water pessure was iffy, no TP for the bathrooms
1,0 Poor
Cons: This hostel is genuinely one of the worst places we have stayed in nineteen months of budget travel to over 40 countries. If you like being denied the room you booked, getting food poisoning from an absolutely filthy kitchen, being shouted at for bargaining for a fair deal and never being provided the services that have been agreed upon, then this is the place for you. Don't let the initial warm demeanour of the owners fool you, they are ripping you off at every turn and refuse to follow through on any agreements they make. We were looking to book a private car for three days to go to visit the archaeological sites and they initially said that $30 per day would get us an english speaking driver for the day and that it would be completely hassle free. We bartered down to $20 per day as this is far more reasonable compared to Egyptian prices, and had a car agreed for 6am-2pm with unlimited stops, wherever we wanted within the Luxor area. Each day was a nightmare with a driver that barely understood even the names of the archeolgical sites, had their own idea of where they wanted to go, and tried to force us to finish hours early. Somehow the owners of the hostel though this was our fault and shouted at us. When we told a couple of other guys that showed up about the problems we'd had, the owners shouted at us again. Not to mention that every time my boyfiend left for a second to grab something from the room, the older guy kept trying to force me to buy to a feluca ride and glared at me when I refused. Avoid at all costs.

Pros: The Bob Marley House is awesome, if you want to go to Luxor and feel like you is a part of an egyptian family is the best place!
Cons: Nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Ok, some things can be fix (noisy AC) or refresh (rooftop), but with the help of all of the crew, we spend greats days in Louxor, and that's really all we need !
6,3 Good
Pros: The staff were great. Very friendly, always helpful. I was able to organise a great tour of the west Bank through them. While the location is down a seedy side street, it is close to a supermarket and some local food joints. For the money, it is OK.
Cons: I had thought I was booking the more famous Bob Marly hostel in Luxor, but I guess these guys are capitilizing on the same name. It was down a seedy side street, and the WiFi was very slow (but the WiFi issue I think is common in Egypt.)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The owner is a great person. The best stay till now highly recommended

Pros: Everything was perfect, we loved the place and the staff was amazing. 10/10 that I would go back again, I would not even try another place. The staff makes you feel like your at home. Amazing!

Pros: Location was great - proximity to the major attractions in Luxor.
Cons: For the price - the bed was absolutely terrible - pathetic actually. After walking 35000 odd steps, I was looking forward to a good nights rest - given we had a 7am flight the next morning. However, it was a terrible bed. We asked for breakfast packs to be prepped for us, given our departure time at 5 30am - in the morning when we asked, front desk looked dumbfounded. So took them 20mins to put together a lousy pack for us.

Pros: The shower was great.
Cons: NA
7,9 Good
Pros: Location, rich breakfast
Cons: Initially we booked one double room with garden view and we found that it was not the same room as the one described in the pictures. The rom was located in a building behind the hotel, near the pool and in my opinion had facilities of maximum 3 stars. We paid a price differenence to change it with a deluxe double room, but even though we was a couple, they offered us a room with 2 separate beds, a room not too clean. After 3 hours of waiting, when we announced that we would cancel the reservation, finally they give us the room we expected.

Pros: Pool n resto terrace overlooking nile river is very beautiful though
Cons: No change given if it is less than 50 or 100EGP so be prepared with small notes before paying ur drink in bar nor reception. Ceiling of room is very low, very old style interior needs refurbishing. Breakfast staff showed me 5USD bill and asked for tips, he said, "do u have small notes?" I get it if u get scams n hustles throughout luxor on the streets. But not acceptable in a 4-star hotel like this one!!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful pool over the Nile river, unique and stunning view from our room (superior Nile View). Staff very kind.
Cons: It was sometimes a bit long to get something you asked, like the TV to be fixed for example. But still a good service and a great place to stay.

Pros: When I was going to bed, after arriving late from the airport, I saw there was only a bootom sheet on the bed and it was dirty. The receptionist kindly helped me to make the bed with fresh sheets at 1am. There was only one small towel as a total endowment. The room was noisy from traffic. Breakfast was poor and the restaurant very gloomy.

Pros: Loved this location. Very central. Right across the street from Luxor Temple and a quick walk to the ferry to go to the West Bank. Has a very nice rooftop patio and pool too. Also the market is right there too. They were very accommodating and helped with any questions we had.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was amazing. They really did the best job to make their customers happy. Even included later check out for us. Also, they went to station to buy tickets for us. The breakfast was okay and if asked we could get more food.
Cons: I did not like the prices that hotel offered for attractions. I think they are way, way too expensive. I mean 10$ ride for 1km from hotel to see Karnak temple.. and 40$ to visit other side of luxor which in reallity costs 15$. Also I would prefer if staff could learn English a little bit better.. but, everything else was fine.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location! Luxor Temple and the Avenue of Sphinxes was literally across Susanna Hotel, and beautiful views of the Valley of the Kings and the hot air balloons at sunrise. Luxor Train Station is a short walk from the hotel too. The souk of Luxor is just one block behind the hotel. Plenty of traditional bakeries and felafel shops nearby; there's even a McDonalds at the next block. The staff are very friendly, especially the always smiling Mohareb who spoke English well and attended to our every need and inquiry. Because our train to Cairo was late at night, they allowed us to extend our stay in the rooms for $20, rather than check out at 11am; this allowed us to rest and shower before our overnight train journey.
Cons: Our biggest disappointment was there was no free WiFi in the rooms. Wifi in the rooms was for pay, although I don't know if that promises a good connection. The only free WiFi was in the lobby, but that also didn't work, so I had to use my mobile data. The restaurant service was very slow, whether for breakfast and for any meals, so beware, you might miss your appointments as you wait for your food to come. If you want the room cleaned or towels changed, make sure to hang the 'please clean my room' sign on the doorknob.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The view at Luxor Temple and the great sunset. Early morning you also see the balloons flying from your balcony. Breakfast is served on the top floor and the view is great. Make sure to book your room facing the temple.
Cons: The noise on the street and the fact that they don't have heater in the room. Be prepared to wear warm clothes inside when you go there during winter season.
3,8 Mediocre
Cons: It was awful. The hotel was very nice one many years ago - I stayed there 4 or 5 times. Now it is completely different. They don't have hot water in the morning as they try to save their expenses for electricity. Even the key to the room, which switches on the light in the room worked with huge problems. The "free wi-fi" in the lobby had a terrible connection and was a real torture. If you want the wi-fi in the room you should pay $2 per hour. When you come to the breakfast at 9.30 (half of an hour before the announced end of the breakfast) you can find the area empty because none waits you. How could you imagine thew reply of the staff "everything is finished already"? And, at the end, you have one towel for a room for two persons. The staff is very lazy, very slow and some of them have huge problems with English. So, I highly NOT recommend the hotel to anybody.
7,5 Good
Pros: Staff was great and the view on the upper rooms only is great
Cons: The phone number provided in the application no answer, The air-conditioner in one of two rooms needs repair, swimming pool & the restaurant in the roof out of service.

Cons: Bad pressure in shower

Cons: Worst traveling experience in my life and worst hotel I’ve been so far. Unprofessional, limited understanding of English and they didn’t care about the customer. They overcharge room WiFi. We paid to have internet and the internet wasn’t working. They made me spend like 3 hours to figure out was happening. The stuff was terrible, they sent an “IT guy” to help us out and he hadn’t any idea what he was doing. He came and the only thing he said it was my phone is connecting I don’t know what’s wrong with yours. That’s how he came to help and guess what he made us angrier. We had a lot of work to do and we did nothing because we hadn’t internet. Thank god the we stayed only for a day. Terrible experience

Pros: Great location and the staff were super
9,0 Excellent
Pros: It is a very beautiful setting, the patio and pool overlook the Nile and the mountains and valleys beyond. The staff were helpful and the breakfast quiet exceptional … best ever! The hotel is stunning and classy throughout. Swimming in the pool by the Nile day and night was quite magical. There are some lovely local restaurants near in walking distance, the Lanterns and for a cheap meal Maximes. We stayed for six nights and loved it,
Cons: The hotel was in a state of change when we stayed and there was little or no tourist information available to help us orientate ourselves. The Nile Cruisers a few hundred metres up river ran their diesel engines all the time, some with dirty exhausts. It dented the ambience a little. Maybe when its more busy they would be away up river. Personally I didn't like being greeted by Egyptian musicians whenever we returned. After a day of hassle on the streets I wanted a place which was baksheesh free!

Cons: On arrival they had no record of my booking, I had to wait almost 30 minutes to check in, they should solve their administrative problems in their own time, I had just come off a flight was tired and hot, I did not need to stand in reception when they solved their internal admin problems.

5,4 Okay
Pros: Swimming pool is nice and staff too.
Cons: Everything is really old. The pictures I saw are not corresponding to reality, I booked because I saw in the picture a nice room, but then I got into an old one. Breakfast is not amazing either. It's supposed to be 5 stars, but I would rate it as 3!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: We arrived early in the morning and they let us check in well before the expected time. We had a spacious room with a great view. The facilities are nice and the pool area is well maintained. There were a variety of choice for breakfast, dinner, and alcohol. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The main entrance area and some of the facilities are under construction. The room was not as clean as we would have liked it to be. There was a musky smell at first until we opened the window and aired out the room. There is a set dinner menu that is included in the half board with drinks not included. It is not that close to the attractions.
4,2 Okay
Cons: HOTEL UNDER MAJOR CONSTRUCTION/RENOVATION... and it is certainly in dire need of it. This however was not disclosed at the time of booking and i feel that is unethical. Bathroom ceiling was leaking, beds were rock hard, the whole place felt like it was a set for a 70s movie. For about the same price we could have stayed somewhere close by in much better condition
8,0 Excellent
Pros: When we arrived we were given a drink while we checked in. The check in process was relatively quick. David the man who served us was very friendly and gave us an AMAZING guide Mr Max (Hussain). The staff were all friendly and happy to help us. They also sat us outside for dinner with our own table as requested. We were upgraded so the room was BIG we had two balconies, a queen size bed and two bathrooms.
Cons: The bath wasn’t completely clean, so had to rinse before use. No safe in the room or we couldn’t find it! The sofa in the room was broken, but you could still use it. There was a few wires sticking out of the wall and the lamps.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The staff were very helpful with our requests including changing our room the second night and trying to sort out their internet.
Cons: Property is a bit dated and the internet was terrible, unable to do anything unless in main lobby, food was just satisfactory.

Pros: Clean and nice view Staff was quite good Showing the direction of prying "qiblha" was very good sign Nice for 2 to 3 days stay not more Ordered a pizza in my room from the Italian restruant was very delicious and not expensive
Cons: Car parking is far from the hotel entrance and it is not paved or well clean ,however it was safe Breakfast menu was a little bit limited ,not alot types of breakfast and drinks Services and food menu shall be inside each room not to call the reception to get it
