Pros: The breakfast room is centrally located. Breakfast choices were plentiful, even by German standards. I especially liked the made to order omelette delivered to my table. The layout of meats, cheeses had fewer slices than in other hotels, which I think is a good idea - less food wastage, as everything was frequently refreshed.

Pros: We enjoyed our stay very much! Impeccable service, especially during breakfast, wonderful breakfast buffet with rolls, pastries, cold cuts, Müsli, Omelette station and local delicacies, rooms spotlessly clean (although on the small side), great rooftop sauna with view of the city. The only complaints we have is that we weren't helped with finding a rental car (it was a busy weekend) and that the gym equipment was minimal. Othwerwise great hotel within walking distance of all Lubeck landmarks and restaurants!

Pros: Location was perfect. Very central for Lubeck. Everywhere was walkable. We ate once in the restaurant and the meal was very nice. Breakfast was very good with loads of choice and very reasonably priced. Room very good and bed very comfortable.

Cons: Initially I was charged twice for the room but this was partly my fault as I didn't check my bill properly until I got home. The hotel were very prompt in correcting this error without any fuss so well done.

Cons: We had a room on 7th floor. The bathroom had double sliding doors exactly beside, and close to, the bed. That was more or less the worst solution I have ever experienced. Beside that the room was nice.

Cons: The wifi did not reach the room (1100), so it was very difficult to achieve and impossible to maintain a connection. I had to sit in the foyer to communicate effectively. The beds were not separated in my daughters' room despite requesting twin beds.

Cons: The entire hotel (corridors, elevators and rooms) smells cigarette really badly especially from afternoon until around 3 in the morning. The smell was so intense as if we are sitting in a room where many people around us smoking. On the second night, we were offered to move to another room a little far from the stairs to the casino, unfortunately we still can smell the smoke terribly in the corridor, luckily not so much inside the room after we opened the window a bit. It’s a pity, the staffs in this hotel are the best, they are really nice and helpful, the room is modern and nice, but if the hotel management do not seriously take action to fix air circulation in the casino and hotel, I will never stay in this hotel again, as it’s very unhealthy, and definitely not for family with small children.

Cons: I stayed for extra 2 nights because we promed 15 to 20%. Discount. I confirmed the discount the night before we checked out and was told it would be reflected on the bill at the time of checkout. When we where leaving the women at counter told me me that i should be happy that it was not more money and no discount could be offered. Not sure why they offered it or why they confirmed it. I am sure we would have stayed without it but i felt she was a little dismissive of the fact that her colleagues told me twice about it. She said she knew they did but took upon herself to deny it when we where in a hurry to catch our train and leave.

Cons: For the price we payed a very down letting stay... Asked on the phone if parking is available and included. The roughly 10 spots in front of the hotel were full so we had to drive around looking for a spot. Told that we would be coming as two adults and one small kid and only got two blankets and pillows, upon asking they said "were full booked and out of pillows" which sounds weird to me. The room was very spartanic decorated, stains on the sofa and no extra decorative pillows. Like they tried to be high class but failed quite a lot at it.

Pros: Beds were very comfy, nice little croissants for breakfast. I really liked the ‘cups’ they used for you to put your jam in (made of something luke an ice cream cone), so no plastic rubbish

Cons: The maid bursting in my room when I was naked wasn’t great! No knock before using a key and bursting in. Mercifully I was by the door and stopped her entering in time! The receptionist was very apologetic and helpful.

Cons: The first impsession of the outside looked very neglected and if you had not booked you probably would not stay there. The bedrooms are very out dated. I will say the reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Pros: It is very close to the city bus stopand it is the fastest and easiest way to get in to the city. Parking is plenty of room Easy to find from the Autobahn We been going for a long time to this hotel, and the service people are just great.

Pros: Very helpful staff, very good breakfast. Spacious comfortable room. Note that Google maps show this hotel as not having good public transport connections. This is wrong - 3 bus routes pass close by the hotel giving frequent cheap service in and out of the city centre.

Pros: Very small room, but it was OK. Best thing is location - easy to walk to center. The breakfast was fine and the coffee was good. Clearly a hotel for the traveling sales man who just want a place to sleep.

Cons: A bit far from the city centre, but it is a half an hour walk, so it isn't that far.The rooms are very basic, but clean and sufficient. The view from the room is towards the street, but it was good soundproofing.The room showed a bit its age, but everything was in order.

Cons: As this was the cheapest hotel with en suite bathroom in old Lubeck, and I enjoyed my stay, I am not going to complain.

Cons: Rather dirty, TV didn't work, water dripping in the toilet, the room was cold when we arrived, there is no Jacuzzy as it says in the description...

Pros: Excellent location. Lovely town. In general, good beds.
Cons: We booked at room for 5 but got one for 4. The receptionist pretended that nothing had happened. When we realized, we returned to the reception and another receptionist sorted it out. The key for returning after 22 didn't really work, so we ended up with another (drunk) guest trying to get in. Quite a laugh. Especially when a by-passer managed to open the door. In the afternoon, the door handle to the room came off, so we weren't able to get back in, but luckily the staff seemed very used to this situation and had the necessary tools right at hand. We were in in about 10 minutes so that was great. We enjoyed the church bells through out the night, actually, truly.
