Tiny room, smallest I’ve ever been in. Harry Potter would have had to sell some possessions to fit in.
Clean, and breaksfast was nice. good value.
My booking was not on their system when i arrived. Even though i had confirmation via email and could show the receptionist this confirmation. A room was found for me anyway, so that was fine and i was assured that the 1 penny charge was not necessary as i did not have the original credit card any longer. The receotionsit was a little blunt and rude in insisting that i give her the last 4 digits, so i did but she then insisted that i must now pay using another card and that she refund the original credit card. No explanation was given. I explained that i had already paid via booking.com, but still she insisted with no reasoning given. I walked out.
Ver comfortable beds and pillows and super efficient heating. Lots of very hot water too. All the staff were helpful and friendly, especially on reception. Great location too- easy to walk to Royal Albert Hall, even with someone in their 80s it only took about 30 minutes at a slow pace.
The walls were thin. Could hear next doors tv and conversations
They didn't have the reservation from booking.com...…… It was complicated to check in as they didn't have reservation. My colleague was given a key for a room with a couple asleep in! Not great...
When we arrived the room that was prepared for us was too small. We asked the staff for change the room to a bigger one, and then without any questions they immediately change our room to a bigger one, no charge needed. The breakfast was good and the staff is so kind and willing to help at any thing you need.
