Shocking
Nothing
I lived in the area of the hotel for 19 years and had recently moved away from the district. We had booked into the hotel on a visit back to visit friends, on check in we were greeted from the reception staff and after they had discussed something on their screen they gave me a key to a room. Entering the room we almost straight away decided we were not going to stay in there. The room had food and toe nails on the floor by the bed. Let's say the reception wasn't to surprised to see me, after explaining about the room they mumbled something about the room maid. We were the given another room which was similar but clean. Around 6.00 am we were woken by the sound of beeping, we had been given a room outside the service entrance and a busy car park. I decided not to mention this and tried to spend as little time as possible in the hotel. After all the years driving past the hotel which looks grand from the outside its was such a disappointment. I won't be staying at the Clarendon again and wouldn't recommend the place to anyone. I actually run a B&B and i would never treat my guest to such awful accommodation. The breakfast was buffet style and not that great. I payed £505 for 4 nights for such accommodation it wasn't worth half that. Keep clear of the Clarendon
Good stay
Clean, pleasant. Staff polite and pretty efficient. Comfortable rooms - some a little small. V good breakfast.
Nothing worth reporting or just a matter of taste.
parking was dead easy for us and the reception staff were relaxed and helpfull
Bathroom needs a shelf ( room 154 )
Easy access to the O2, Food good and not expensive

Service was excellent, rooms very good, all staff friendly and helpful. Good location for the o2 arena. Very good transport facilities.
None
The breakfast.Location
The lcation of the room which faced the two roads over Blackheath and was noisy due to 24/7 traffic
Very handy for the bus to the O2 arena. Decent sized room. Good selection on the menu for breakfast.
Can't think of anything I didn't like.
breakfast was great
the ensuite could do with updating in the room . Abit tired and old looking.

the "heath" is really nice to see; Blackheath village is also very quaint, yet not too far from downtown.
Location was somewhat inconvenient for those using transit to get around.
