Location staff we’re so welcoming rooms quirky bar and food excellent
This is by far our favourite hotel in London. Love this place and the rooms
The location and the friendliness of the staff
I was informed that my booking got cancelled at the property “after I checked in” due to a pipe burst and was asked to move to another hotel elsewhere. The staff and the manager were very nice and understanding of the situation and looked for an alternative option. However the alternative as to share a larger room with a colleague which we had to accept based on the circumstances. The lifts to the room didn’t work and we had to use service elevators to get there. There was no hot water throughout my stay and had to brave the cold water showers. Despite someone attended to the matter, it was not resolved. In my second night I have kept a cash in my bag in the room only to find out that it was stolen when I got back from the dinner. Staff was attentive but did not address the issue to date. During the checkout I was told that the computer was not working so I didn’t receive an invoice. It was a very bad experience, lost a great sum amount of money to in-room burglary, had cold showers, shared a room with a colleague and the only compensation we had received was a bottle of wine.
Staff, room and location
Room was noisy with a aircon type of noise for most of the night
Our stay at The Sanderson was perfect from start to finish. I called ahead to let them know that we were coming to stay for my boyfriend's birthday. From upgrading us to a huge, gorgeous room to delivering balloons, flowers, candles, and birthday treats, they truly went above and beyond to make it an amazing weekend. We can't wait for our next visit!
