- Food (half board and breakfast are very good, a lot of choice of good and fresh products like various fresh fruit juices and quality tea, for instance) - Service ( many professional, responsive and involved members of staff : reception, catering, pool, technical, cleaning : every one is dedicated to a good customer experience) - Location : 10 mn walk to beach and 10mn walk to bus stop to go either to Lindos (15mn bus trip then 10mn walk) or Rhodes (1 hour trip). All buses have air conditioned. HOTEL The hotel is nice and well maintened with his white small buildings with blue, red or green doors. The loby has a little too much marble for my taste but it is the rule in these luxury locations which has to seem wealthy… Rooms are comfy, clean and large enough, sea view is great even if the immediate area is a bit built up with hotels. BEACH Beach with small round pebbles is nice and very close (10mn walk and a shuttle every hour if you wish), in a quiet area of Vliya Beah, which is more crowdy elsewhere. There is enough umbrellas and relax for everybody even if the “front row” is difficult to get after 10 am. Bring beach shoes if you wish but most people leave their flip-flap on the edge of water. Water is going deep quite early from the edge so it easy to swim, but watch your small kids. There is a shower and WC. POOL Around the pool you have also enough umbrella and relax to find your right spot, and the atmosphere is quite since there are no kids and music at the bar is an easy listening program. Christo and bar staff are very welcoming. Good choice of fresh salads and less healthy snack like French fries and sandwiches.
Cons : Not much… perhaps the location which is a pretty touristic area, 3 hotels in the same place, then more around Lindos. So not the smarter choice if you want to avoid mass tourism. But it is still more quiet than Rhodes. To improve : - shelves in the bathroom to store toilet stuff - more hangers to hang to wels and bath robes in the bathroom or in the room - Stand mirror - More sustainable involvement : give the choice not to change towels everyday, stop giving straws, and the beach boy could pay more attention to plastic glasses, cans and cigaret butts left by rude people on the beach. Signs could be displayed to raise awareness about this issue.
From the extremely friendly welcome (we were late arrivals) with a glass of fizz and a late dinner plate if we wanted it, through to the lovely accommodation (very comfy beds) with amazing see views if you book those rooms, to the excellent and extensive offerings at the breakfast & evening buffet to all of the lovely, helpful, friendly staff - nothing was too much trouble. It is a quick 5 minute stroll down to the beach which is lovely with the great Banana Beach Bar. It's a bit of a climb back up to to the hotel, but never fear there is a free pick up (and drop off if you need it) that you can book on the hour up to about 7pm. A beautifully set out hotel, run extremely well with professional but not stuffy staff. Will definitely be back. Thank you :)
great breakfast, very clean room and facilities. the staff is very nice. great place for couples.
there should be a closer restroom to the pool
Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice! Location is very nice (we had a stunning view from our room on the sea). Beach is a short walk (5min downhill) and with 5 min by car you get to Lindos (one of the most beautiful villages in the whole island). Service was great. We felt very welcomed. Really appreciated the nespresso machine in the room
We tried the dinner at the buffet at fixed price but there was no much choice. Also they close quite early at 9.30pm. We were there at 9pm and waiter made us feel rushed in consuming our dinner. A shower in the bathroom would have been more appreciated than the bath.
A much larger hotel than we were expecting this was a beautifully maintained and peaceful place. More upmarket than we were expecting. Nice views across the bay. The breakfast had a very wide selection and was absolutely delicious. The room was very clean, finished to a nice standard, with great air con. Pool and poolside facilities/services were perfect. Staff superb, polite and naturally hospitable. There is a small mini market on site which has all you may need. Spa was ok, but not amazing. Good for those looking to relax. Easy to get into Lindos on a bus (10mins).
Location was a little further from Lindos than we thought, but its a quick bus trip in. However the lampposts that line the deserted road to the main street dont work, which means a 5min walk in the pitch dark, if you come home late. Torch on phone came in handy. Dont be put off by this though.
