Excellent location on the Plaza Mayor. We paid a few euros extra to have a room with a balcony overlooking the Plaza and the extra expense was well worth it. The view of the bustle of the Saturday market was most enjoyable. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was large with a powerful shower. The staff were very friendly and the price was good for such a quality venue. We paid about €70pn. We also paid extra for inclusive breakfast which was buffet style and with lots of options. If you ask the staff they will also prepare bacon and eggs for you. We didn't have an evening meal here but the menu looked good. Like Burgos and Salamanca, Leon is a terrific small city with a thriving nightlife and tapas culture and if you are visiting then I am very happy to recommend the NH as the hotel for your stay.

Bathroom has not enough light. Breakfast was far from other NH hotels...not worth the cost.
