The balcony was a added bonus and the swimming pool was nice too.
Professional and welcoming receptionists! Every hotel staff were Very helpful!
The main entrance lounge carpets look dark, old and tired...
Staff were very helpful, the food provided for our function was lovely (particularly impressed with the quality of the veggie option ) and the room was good value for money.
The room was a little tired but was clean, good value and a nice temperature throughout our stay. We did not have breakfast as it was more cost effective to eat locally outside of the hotel.
Bar open late , near nice locations Great for parking
You need a car realistically to go anywhere
Location only, the sites are amazing the chevin and golden acre park
The staff was ignorant to the recent changes that had to be made during the covid-19 situation, although we appreciated the changes had to be made and abided by anything that was changed, we wasn’t informed of anything’s during our two night stay or even told what the changes would be, we then asked has we noticed the changes and they wasn’t bothered to make us aware of this they was ignorant and made us feel upset me and my two kids saved for months for this trip for mothers day and how they made us feel was as if we shouldn’t of been asking this also cost us more during our stay this was u fair, it was the bat staff that we in the end spoke to and he did all he could to help us and was very nice and if we was told as he told us then it wouldn’t of been has stressful for us, The rooms was very dated and we got flea bites on our arms and my daughters stomach was bitten we had to go get antihistamines for this, The plumbing was poor we turned the hot water on and the tap spat at us all our legs was getting wet with the power don’t know what this was due too but the whole time we was there that happened the cold water tap didn’t even run out water it tricked...
