Cons: N/A...apart from leaving....
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location. Beautiful building and gorgeous room
Cons: No mirror at the dressing table and hairdryer in the bathroom which you have to hold a button on to use. I prefer as most females do to dry my hair and do my makeup at a dressing table with a mirror not in a damp bathroom or sitting on the floor. It also means that no one else can use the bathroom whilst I dry my hair. If you are refurbishing the other rooms please take this into account.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and the glamorous interiors
Cons: We loved it all!

Cons: Hidden extra’s No shower Parking full
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: No issues at all
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location.
Cons: Would have preferred Air con.
7,1 Good
Pros: Good location in Le Touquet. Reserved parking very convenient and worth the charge. Bar area nice for a nightcap (if golfers not about)
Cons: Our bathroom was old and tired compared to the bedroom. Rusty radiator and black mold around the bath and ceiling. Budget room shouldn’t mean sub standard accommodation to me and at £126 per night that isn’t budget price either. Very much a golfers hotel so at times you felt like you’d walked into a golf club in the South of England
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient for the town, and golf le Touquet. Very clean and lovely bar area
7,1 Good
Cons: No facilities for coffee making in room and breakfast not included.
7,5 Good
Pros: The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Well situated to see Le Touquet
Cons: For what you get it is expensive. You can hear others moving around the hotel and when closing their doors, the whole place shakes. Our room overlooked the front of the hotel and the design captures and amplifies any noise in this area.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast very good. Good location.
Cons: Room rate was a little pricey.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Property is ideally located close to the beach and the Restaurants. Staff very very helpfully with directions and what to do whilst in Le Touquet. The superior room was very nice and well decorated. The parking was €10 per night but worth it as it was secure and no access to the public
Cons: Not sure if the breakfast was worth the €14.95 each. It may be worth have a 5 min walk into town to pick up breakfast in the local restaurants.
8,5 Excellent
Pros: The location and ability to use the car park
Cons: Only a basic shower attachment in the bath. For what we paid we should have had a decent shower and cubicle. The breakfast was very Continental, i.e. Nothing cooked.Even so 14e per head .... ouch !

7,5 Good
Pros: breakfast, location, pool
Cons: hotel is tired, needs a lick of paint
10,0 Excellent
Pros: No croissants. Bed excellent.
Cons: The bath was very difficult to get into and out of because of its height and the non slip bits had worn away.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Pool and room was great. Location was amazing. Short walk (10-15mins) from centre.
Cons: Faded glory. Whole place could do with a make over. Tennis court was very run down. Restaurant was expensive, but food was good.
8,8 Excellent
Cons: The restaurant ran out of a particular dish offered on the fixed price menu.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, rare to find in chain hotels these days.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: As we were traveling with our dog we were delighted to find the room very spacious and it had a small garden immediately outside our patio doors. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast good. In a quiet area but only a short walk from the center. We were there at the end of their busy summer and a few areas in the hotel neede a bit of maintenance but nothing to distract. We will be back soon.
Cons: Nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and spacious. Lovely pool
Cons: It was all hood
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We have a dog the position of the hotel was perfect
6,7 Good
Pros: the bed was comfortable, the reception staff very helpful. Liked the toilet being separate from the bathroom. Was quite cold at night, could not find the radiator. blind open on a side, when the room looks out on the street , ( even if quiet st) , it would be better if the blinds were opening from the middle.
Cons: The carpet was very uncomfortable , you can tell no underlying was put before the carpet, it was just concrete floor then the carpet. Not what I am expecting when you pay £150.00 :(( Really after a long day driving, all you need is a nice cuppa but we had to play short straw to see who was going to have it there was just enough tea/ coffee, milk & sugar for one person. Most people put 2/3 milk in their tea as for sugar 2. Even if you can request more from reception, when you just arrived, you just want to have a rest, not fluff around to call & wait for things o be dropped off. Also the dispenser in the shower were empty, had to ask for more mini gels. Bath far too high, borderline dangerous.

Cons: The room and price
9,0 Excellent
Pros: No croissant but exceptional owner who went to great lengths to insure a pleasant stay
Cons: The situation was that it was not within walking distance of a good restaurant. The 58 steps up to our bedroom was hard work, particularly with cases etc.
7,5 Good
Pros: Comfy bed. Good room with french doors and another big window. Access to large balcony.
Cons: We and shower in the room with poor separation. Typical French system though, so no surprise. No drinking water supplied which is poor for the price.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Stayed in a bungalow room. Modern decor and comfortable. Nice little patio and garden. Quiet. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Dinner was ok but menu quite limited. Nice bar. Friendly staff.
Cons: No tea/coffee making facilities in room. Too far to walk into townNi
7,5 Good
Pros: The hotel still retained its charm that we had experienced many years ago.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Setting lovely. Proximity to golf course and club house. Relaxing pool and terrace area
Cons: Everything was fine
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great location
Cons: Mosquitos!
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: Appalling, how a hotel manages to advertise a room for EU 206 that is not close to clean, has no ventilation in any way or form but open the windows. No protection against a by themselves known mosquito problem. Has a bath with a shower in one with no protection against slipping. Fire alarm in the middle of the night without an adequate execution of procedures. Advertising to be wheelchair friendly, which only means there is one room on the ground floor, that was not available. We had to move, without an elevator to the first floor. No assistance. Seriously a disgrace. And when feedback was given kindly to the staff after paying the room, no, sympathy or apologies or excuse for all above experiences... My recommendation is, go look somewhere else to stay.
9,2 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast buffet did not have as much choice as I would have liked
6,7 Good
Pros: Great staff - all very welcoming and helpful. The hotel communal areas are beautifully decorated. Its nice to hire bikes and cycle the 10 - 15 mins into town and to the beach.
Cons: No aircon even in the newer bedrooms and the bungalows. The original room we were given was on the top floor of the main house and didnt have a shower. There was also a sign in the bathroom saying it could take up to 10 mins for the hot water to reach the top of the house. We asked to move and were moved to a nice new 'bungalow' with a large and modern walk in shower.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location although not on the centre, it is in the middle of first and only a short drive by car. You can also rent bikes and ride to the centre. The room I spacious and the staff are professional and friendly. Definitely more than 3 stars.
4,6 Okay
Cons: The staff did not seem to have any pride in what they were doing and did not appear to have any senior management direction.

Pros: Breakfast above average but expensive. We were able to check-in 1 hour ahead of the usual check-in time. Staff were courteous.
Cons: Dodgy electrical points/lights, no elevator, no English language TV channel (it was provided but didn't work) We specifically asked for a bath when booking but were given a (pleasant) room with a shower.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very close to shops and restaurants. Garden area for bicycle parking.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great value very clean
Cons: Nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location close to town centre. Everything within a short walk.
Cons: No lift, so bit of an effort to get to the third floor with your luggage.
7,5 Good
Pros: Breakfast good. Location excellent. I do believe I have done one of these for Les Embruns previously, so I shall be brief
Cons: Rooms very small. They were adequate in size and nicely presented so no real problem. I have problems with stairs; there were 40 odd...
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The young man who welcomed us spoke very slowly and clearly explaining how the parking worked. In a street of restaurants and only one block from the sea front. With dogs: head towards the sea front and turn right for a lovely long walk through the dunes.
Cons: On the street parking a bit faffy: had to shift the car around. On the 3rd floor, no lift and no offer of help with our bags. Now I'm in my 70s some help would be appreciated.
6,3 Good
Pros: Good service good facilities particularly as it was a late booking
5,8 Okay

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great stay, friendly people, great food. Very happy customer!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast. Highly - welcoming owner.
Cons: Prefer walk in shower but this is a marginal criticism.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Bespoke type building.
Cons: It’s just a little way out from the town, shops etc...
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast with choice of eggs cooked to order, freshly baked bread plus warm croissants and pain au chocolat. Room had a bath with a shower above.
Cons: Lighting in room was dim - bedside light insufficient to read a book. Not much in the way of other facilities locally.
7,5 Good
Pros: Nice bright room with balcony. A little noisy because right on road. A big garden with sitting area. Nice breakfast. Nothing special but everything fresh and eggs could be ordered which we would recommend as 12 euros is expensive for fruit and some bread and croissants.
Cons: An adaptor for the charger of my iPhone would have been really helpful. It is only a small thing to have around but would help travellers from the UK.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice welcome. The room was clean and bright with a huge bed. Bathroom was clean and shower powerful and hot. Breakfast was 12euros but worth it as the offer was excellent and it meant we did not have to think about finding a cafe in the morning.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely peaceful location, easy to find. The beds are large and comfortable.Air conditioning, a fridge and kettle in the room .Nice large garden to sit/ walk around.Very nice staff.
Cons: The position of the bathroom door ..it was too close to the bed..poor lighting. Room information only in French.
7,5 Good
Pros: The breakfast itself was lovely, but I don't like coffee or juice out of a machine, the coffee is never hot enough. The dining room overlooked the garden and was really very pleasant, lots of choice to eat, nice and fresh.
Cons: just the coffee and juice
7,9 Good
Pros: The hotel was in a convenient location for Etaples & Le Touquet. Our room was clean and comfortable with air conditioning. Guests had use of the large garden.
Cons: For a small hotel it felt impersonal despite its size as staff were not around. Our room faced the front courtyard and the road was busier than we expected. Most disappointing was the breakfast, which was not included in the room price, as it was machine coffee and juice, small croissants and cold boiled eggs!

Pros: staff , location and contact was good
Cons: nothing all good
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent, in the centre of Le Touquet. Staff were brilliant, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast also excellent.
Cons: Difficult to park. It would have been good to have tea / coffee making facilities in the room
7,9 Good
Pros: The location was very central and it had the feel of a Bijou hotel.Staff were very friendly.
Cons: The WIFI didn’t work and there was no elevator making lifting of heavy suitcases up narrow staircases very difficult.
5,8 Okay
Pros: I was very disappointed with my choice of room I did expect it to be a little better. The carpets were not very clean and to be honest the whole room just needed a refurb. The towels were not change for the 3 nights we were there and no tea making facilities. These little things make all the difference. They also take payment before you arrive and then take payment again. The pending payment after 5 days has still not been returned
Cons: The breakfast was very nice but I feel again a bit over priced
7,5 Good
Pros: Lovely room and the lady greeted us was very receptive
Cons: No parking at the hotel
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Attractively furnished room, comfortable bed, good storage. The decor showed good modern taste in an old building. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, with good quality teas (not Lipton's yellow label!), some home-made jams as well as bought ones. Cooked breakfast available, also croissants, cheeses, hard boiled eggs, muesli, ham, breads. Helpful proprietor - it appeared to be a family run business. The position of the hotel was very close to the centre, with lots of choice of restaurants and only 5 minutes' walk from the beach.
Cons: Very steep stairs to the bedrooms, though we were given help with our bags. Definitiely not suitable for people with mobility problems. Also, although the bathroom was fine in other ways, the door was difficult to close and had to be virtually slammed (room number 5). Very noisy, especially for getting up in the night. There is only on-street parking, where we were lucky to find a space. It is in the more expensive 'red zone' because it is so central and although we were given a map at once, to show us where we could park in the nearby cheaper 'green zone' we chose to stay where we were because at our age we didn't want to do a lot of extra walking.

Pros: Room was good, location was excellent.
Cons: Receptionist could do with customer service training. Expensive breakfast, but lots of cafes locally to have breakfast No onsite parking, paid street parking, free on weekdays.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: We have used the Red Fox Hotel on many occasions. It is in a great location, has private parking available and the staff are always very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The shower screen over the bath could do with being a bit larger as the floor got very wet when taking a shower. It would have been nice to have some cold meats available for breakfast.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location to centre and beach
Cons: Perhaps food choice at breakfast would bring broad appeal
7,1 Good
Pros: Location was great and we were lucky as had a big room (2 x adults and 1 x child). Some rooms are a fair bit smaller.
Cons: Was a bit pricey but guess it was due to the location. Plus was good value compared to some hotels in the area.

7,9 Good
Pros: The overall standard of the hotel
Cons: All good
7,5 Good
Pros: Excellent little hotel in a very convenient location, amongst the charming little shops & restaurants of Le Touqet.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good Location is very good for all amenities And the parking is very secure and handy

The staff were very friendly and helpful especially as we left a couple of items behind and a member of staff offered to post them on to us. We would certainly stay at the Red Fox again.

Pros: Loved everything about our stay here; immaculately clean, friendly staff, good onsite facilities, convenient but quiet location... The home was compact but more than comfortable for a family of 4. Parking immediately outside. Everything was great.
Cons: We brought our own bedding and towels, and chose to clean the home on departure - we were provided basic materials for this but we did buy other cleaning materials to make sure we did a good job. Still worth doing this to save on the cleaning costs.
8,0 Excellent
Cons: Wi-Fi wasn't working and that was the main reason we booked the accommodation

Pros: Amazing views from the hotel, new and comfortable rooms and lovely food. Good location and parking.
Cons: The pool was really nice but it was a shame about the spa being closed - will have to go again to try it out!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very attentive on reception and willing to help
Cons: Rooms overpriced even for the view
6,3 Good
Pros: Fantastic view from the hotel, right on the beach. Newly renovated, communal areas nice, rooms newly decorated.
Cons: Terrible lighting in the restaurant. So bright I could see myself in the window instead of the beautiful sunset, apparently they couldn't dim the lights! The kitchen door kept slamming every few seconds which was not very relaxing. To be fair, the manager did try and help and find a solution, but it wasn't easy. Food average but extremely expensive. With the food and accommodation, it was overpriced. A shame, as such a stunning location.
7,9 Good
Pros: Location was excellent, on the beach and rooms were modern and clean.
Cons: I’d say slightly overpriced for what you get
7,5 Good
Pros: View from the room was good
Cons: Service at the evening meal was disappointing
5,8 Okay
Pros: Booked because it was right on the seafront! And that was possibly only the best thing....
Cons: We were upgraded! I’m not sure what extras we were given as every room looks the same apart From the position of the bed! Our upgrade meant we had to walk a long way with our luggage... if it’s this special a little help would have been good even just a trolley! Building and renovation was going on and signs for parking and Reception on arrival were difficult to locate - as Novotel is also doing renovations adjoining the hotel! So lovely expensive breakfast then walk along beautiful beach to get back to our room and shower off sand before leaving to get our Eurotunnel.... there was no water !! To our room ... we called and told the receptionist who said the whole water supply had problems and we could stay until it was repaired but they didn’t know when that would be! 39 minutes later I called reception once more to see if water was coming back on and they still didn’t know! Eurotunnel to catch so I asked if there was water in the swimming pool... they said yes ! By this time it was 12 45 ... still with sandy feet I walked to the swimming pool with workers doing something and when I finally get my contact lenses in swimming costume on I’m told they close the pool at 1pm so I had to be quick half way through my 2 lengths I see a worker on either side watching me as if to say hurry up. Go into changing rooms and the cleaner is huffing and puffing at me for just trying to get dry and some normality!! So truly awful and a very expensive awful experience! Customers shouldn’t have to suffer on Friday 13th !! Big shame and disappointment
4,2 Okay
Pros: A nice beach
Cons: We arrived at 7.45pm after a 7 hour drive hoping to have dinner at the hotel At reception we were told we couldn’t and the only option was room service. At £200 plus a night it wasn’t exactly what we expected We go to the room and the only options on food are Fish soup, cold meat and cheese platter and some vegetarian platter or salad. The worse room service menu we have encountered So it’s the vegetarian platter and meat and cheese. Room service appears and they had forgotten half the order. The food was absolutely disgusting and with a bottle of wine it costs over 100 euros which is insane. We upgraded our room for a sea view and I can honestly say the rooms are tiny. The gym and health club facilities were also all closed We use this site a lot and this is by far the worst booking we have made to date We told the reception how the food arrived in 2 parts. Mine first then 30 minutes later my husbands food arrives. We said how disgusting the food was and we couldn’t really eat it . They just ignored us and 350 euros later feeling absolutely starving we left
7,9 Good
Pros: The views are amazing, the rooms are comfortable, a lovely breakfast.
Cons: The bar staff were not very welcoming, we arrived late at 21:30 and could not get any food. The prices at the bar were very expensive! 5 euros for a soft drink.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The view from our bedroom was wonderful and we posted it on facebook to the envy of all our friends. The breakfast was great. It was a lovely surprise to find salt water in the swimming pool. We considered cancelling our other hotel and staying on.
5,0 Okay
Pros: nice staff.
Cons: Overlooking dunes meant overlooking car park. Stingy coffee, tea and milk.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is in a wonderful location right on the beach. The staff were very helpful and the food was good
Cons: A bit disappointed that having booked a more expensive room with a balcony overlooking the beach, to find that the balcony was wet and dirty
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location, location (in English) Staff friendly and efficient No problems at all.
Cons: nothing much
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Magnificent beach and sea views! Room was right on the beach, with sand under the balcony. Wide sandy beach with surf rolling in. Much activity on beach to watch from room - sand yachts, windsurfers, kite surfers - always something going on. Le Touquet is a very smart resort with many Edwardian houses and posh shops, but also some more modern parts that are in need of a revamp. Long promenade for walks to take in the sea air.
Cons: Hotel restaurant was a bit limited in choice, and restaurants in the town were a twenty minute walk away. Menu was all in food-French which is difficult to translate without a dictionary. Some reception and bar staff had very limited English (waiters were better), and although I always thought my French reasonable, some conversations were a bit confused.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The view which was spectacular. Comfort of beds. Cleanliness excellent. Staff very helpful.
Cons: Price of breakfast was high.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, fantastic view, excellent service, fantastic breakfast!

6,3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great. host was great.Restaurant area spacious and lovely.
Cons: Check in times very limited and not good. We were not shown to our room, Stairs were very steep and torn stair carpet positively dangerous. Lighting in room very poor. Shower worked well but dirty and base broken.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Good sized room, very comfortable bed. Nice functional room. Short drive to local facilities including Aldi.
7,5 Good
Pros: Lovely setting, lovely welcome. Dinner was just wonderful, I thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful of the superb meal.
Cons: My room (No 2) was at the front corner of the building overlooking the Route Nationale which was quite noisey through the night. But mine was a Booking.com reservation so it was down-to-a-price; next time I will book direct and reserve a room at the back. In some respects the room was becoming a little worn and ready for some refurbishment but I can't complain given the price paid.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation is of an auberge setup. Its own restaurant served up authentic traditional French food. We had an unforgettable 3-course dinner each. They were excellent and very French. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The 2-star accommodation met our every expectation.
Cons: None.
5,4 Okay
Cons: Very disappointed that restaurant was closed. Having an on site restaurant was the main reason I had picked it. Also bar was closed. With no kettle in the room or vending machine there was no food or drink within 5 Kms. Reception also closed so couldn’t get the WiFi password and there was nowhere to charge my laptop.

Pros: The ability to walk to all local amenities in a few minutes. great location for the beach and shops. Good breakfast.
Cons: Noisy road when windows opened. Overly warm/hot. Staff could be a little more friendly.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Small family hotel. Excellent ambiance, friendly staff. Good large room with excellent facilities. Centrally positioned in Le Touquet and handy for beach and restaurants.
Cons: Not hotel's fault but the street is not in any garmin / tom-tom database
6,4 Good
Pros: Ideal location - great room and lovely breakfast
Cons: We had to leave early to catch our ferry. There was no one to pay - so we had to ring the owner and leave our details on the table in the reception area. The owner was very understanding.
6,4 Good
Pros: Excelent bed and breakfast
Cons: By check out no pin paying ( was deffect )
6,0 Good
Pros: Pretty property, nice street appeal, plenty of on-street parking outside. When arriving at a time in the afternoon or evening when premises are not manned - clearer details in the entry porch - both in English as well as French would be more welcoming and helpful to strangers as the owner/manager is required to be located elsewhere than on the property, in fact at some distance at another location altogether in the area.
Cons: Maintenance of all electrical/plumbing fixtures and features needs to be attended to - some lights and switches did not work, shower was complicated and temperamental though water once flowing was hot and force good. White towels were clean and plentiful, but need to be whiter and brighter or renewed. Bed was firm and pillows comfortable. Premises quiet by night. Breakfast a big + - fresh, generous and varied. Breakfast room bright, fresh and attractive: breakfast-lady sombre but efficient and accommodating.
6,4 Good
Pros: spacious rooms, well-equipped bathroom, excellent location
Cons: noisy sanitary equipment (toilet), hot and cold indications switched in shower (=dangerous!), limited number of tv channels
6,4 Good
Pros: Very pleasant location. Quiet. Good breakfast. Clean, well serviced room.
Cons: Coming from abroad & not knowing your way around it would have been good to have someone there on arrival. Also would have liked more milk sachets in room for drinks. Could be difficult to park in high season although not a problem for us.

Pros: quite location, breakfast,cleanliness

A stay at Pol Hôtel places you in the heart of Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, within a 15-minute walk of Aqualud and Le Touquet Beach.
6,7 Good
Pros: Location was good for central la Touquet-Paris-Plage. Reception area was very inviting.
Cons: The rooms need a good deep clean - dust/ dirt around skirting boards and plug sockets. A couple of the towels were a little frayed.
4,6 Okay
Pros: Location was brilliant
Cons: Staff unhelpful/unfriendly. Parking situation is awful with no information given that cars will be towed if you park on the street. Photos do not reflect the current state of the hotel.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Not a lot , the whole property needs a lot of TLC
Cons: The staff were not helpful, we were not made aware of that the market was on a Thursday and we should move our cars, we and other guests had our cars removed to a compound by the Police and had to pay €185.00 to retrieve it. That morning on speaking to the receptionist he pointed out a sign on the desk which was not there when we booked in on the Tuesday, he also told us that a sign was situated in the lift which we had no use for as our bedroom was across the courtyard. He was not concerned or did not make any effort to help us retrieve our cars, the info he gave us to find the Police station was completely wrong, we had to ask two other people to find it. Our holiday was spoilt by the condition of the hotel and the lack of respect to us and others as customers.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Reasonable size room
Cons: No fridge with drinks, no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.allowed smoking in the bedrooms, everywhere smelt of cigarettes. Wasn't told about parking restrictions, got my car towed away because of that. Allow dogs in the rooms.
