While I didn't have much experience with the Polynesian or any of the other Magic Kingdom Resorts, my wife was very familiar with it from when she was visiting there frequently as a child in the 90s. Pros (+) We loved that it really felt we were in the South Pacific, the theming is done so well. The convenience to the Magic Kingdom was also great. There is a perfect mix of quick eating and sit down options as well. Walking out of your building and seeing Cinderella's castle is pretty awesome.
Cons (-) Our room was in the farthest building from the main lobby area (Great Ceremonial House). Was a bit of a walk to get there, but it was a nice walk.
