Would recommend this resort to others. Great location and as a resident of the resort you also have access to the other facilities offered by Hyatt Resident Club, giving you more options of pools and areas to lounge. Also love that you can walk along the beach to get to Whalers Village where there are some shops and restaurants. Love that the gym is well equipped. Most of the staff were very friendly and hospitable but one staff who stood out for us was Joven, who works in the breakfast area was particularly thoughtful. He remembers my coffee order with soy milk as I'm lactose intolerant without being reminded the next day or the day after. Also, for those who wants to venture out to Maui Shopping Outlet, you can easily hop on the hourly shuttle. Restaurants in the resort offer good tasty food.
Choices at breakfast were limited. Particularly for those who is either coeliac or lactose intolerant. For guests who like their coffee, filtered coffee is just too weak. Would have appreciated a barista made coffee.
The concierge staff at the hotel was exceptional in helping get activities scheduled. Where our room was we were able to enjoy the lighting ceremony at the Hyatt Residences pool area from our balcony which was a great way to welcome the sunset.
Everything exceeded my wildest dreams of our first trip to Maui and your hotel made that possible. We could have just stayed on hotel property and been absolutely happy! The pools, the lobby and restaurants were amazing.
The heat with humidity in the area of Maui was rough but that’s out of your control. That’s coming from an Oregon girl.
Hello once I am there and PRE paid the first 2 nights i was not going to make a fuss . On the web site tariff was 273€ then I ended up paying for my room 399$ . I could have gone to the Four season Resort for 400$ at night . Breakfast included well tax to pay and tip so ended up paying for breakfast 40$ .Not worth it poor quality smell from the swans lake . I expected more for an Hyatt . I arrived late 23:30 tired with jet lag and the lady alone was sending all clients to their rooms .I had to go back and ask her to take me to the elevators . Too tired to dark to understand with the map where I needed to go . Anyway now I now that tariff is higher in booking .com and you never know the exact price . I will not take breakfast better at the bar inside the venue . I appreciate having some shops .I will check the web site of the hotel nexts time for a better rate . I come to hawaii every year.
Room needs update. We have stayed in other Hyatt place and no complaints.
