Pros (+) Hot spring was very comfortable. Receptionist made a restaurant reservation for me.
Cons (-) It’s close to Kyoto station but a bit far from the main hot spots further north. Convenient to get to fushimi inari though

Pros (+) The hotel is quite close to the train station, which was handy but the area it's in isn't the nicest to look at. We found it quite easy traveling around the place from the hotel. The room size was good for Japan and the staff were polite. It had a public onsen style bath.
Cons (-) Children were using the onsen as a swimming pool when I went. Not very relaxing. No staff around to stop this. That was the only negative.

Pros (+) The price was unbeatable. The room was very clean and the hotel had a very nice feel to it. The public baths were very nice.
Cons (-) The room was a little too small, although I'm quite tall. (We stayed in their small double room, 1 bed.)
