Pros:The location was pretty close shops and restaurants
Cons:Pretty much everything could've been better. They argued about the airport transfers being included even though we had the email confirmation. So many things were broken and messed up in the room. Trying to address them was painful. They said they would come to fix and we would have to remind them over a several hours/day period. The room was full of mosquitos when we arrived. The pictures are misleading. The breakfast is terrible and the staff couldn't be bothered to start it at 6:30 as advertised and when I went at 6:45, I was told it be 30 minutes. The staff all seemed extremely young and inexperience. I don't think management has been there in months. There was a restaurant advertised on site that was never opened during the hours advertised. The steps in the patio were so broken it was a serious safety hazard. The toilet didn't work when we first arrived. The staff seemed to have a collusion with the local private taxi company and refused to help us get a tuk tuk or help explain how it worked. Anytime we called the front desk, they would say ok and hang up without explaining anything. When we were leaving and dealing with the airport transfers again, I spoke to the manager on one of the staff's cell phones and he just wanted to complain to me about the site promising something that he wasn't aware of. I just told him that I have proof that this is included. You need to make it right. My sister and I also looked up the very nice resort next door that seemed to be more in line with what we thought we were getting and the prices would have been the same. We really wanted to treat ourselves to a very nice end of our vacation and it ended up being a very expensive mistake. It is the only part of an otherwise amazing trip to Thailand that we regret.
