Great view from bedroom window
We had to have a full meal or nothing, though they did let us have bar snacks the day we arrived. Would have liked the option of having just one course, as it was poor weather for driving or walking elsewhere.
Staff went out of their way to accommodate my 89 year old mother. Staff fantastic in all areas
Lovely quiet location just a short walk into the main shops, bars and restaurant. Room was very large and superking bed was really comfortable. Dinner in the dining room was excellent, well cooked and very tasty. Breakfast was also very tasty. Bar and bar staff were excellent. Private car park. Loved the decor, it was just to my taste
The room we were booked into had an extremely damp smelling bathroom. The replacement room had a clean bathroom. We always like to have a walk in shower not an over the bath shower without a height adjustable head.
Good quality hotel, well maintained, staff extremely helpful and its location was perfect for walks and mooching in shops, it all added up to a great place for a break. The food was especially good and I would recommend the half board option as being good value and the way to go.
Can't think of anything I would change, it even had lots of free parking, hot water and enough easy chairs for everyone to sit and chill in the lounges
