Incredible space. So relaxing and peaceful and gorgeous The staff was wonderful. Everything was perfect - just like our wedding there 6 years ago. Our favorite place for sure!
The privacy and natural beauty. Felt at home away from it
A little expensive for muffins and bed, however very nice cottage and « garden »
Screen porch Early am service (coffee and pastries) Turn-down maid service Quality built and furnished Quiet location bungalow
Accommodations are wonderful! especially like the screened in porch for morning coffee. Loved having the coffee, freshly baked goods, and the paper delivered to our bungalow every morning. Also,we enjoyed having the shuttle service, both to the beach as well into town.
We dined at Earth the second night we were there and I (Bill's wife) was very disappointed by the whole experience. We arrived promptly at 8:00 pm for our dinner reservation and we were immediately told our table wasn't ready. It felt more like the restaurant was under staffed as we walked by several empty tables, one of which we were then seated at 20 minutes later. I asked our server if she had any recommendations and she recommended the "house made rice noodles and lobster dish" which I ordered as my entree. Noodles were so over cooked the dish was inedible and it only had 3 small pieces of lobster in it. Our server inquired as to how the meal was and I told her and instead of charging me for full portion, she charged me for half. In my opinion the whole meal should have been comped. That said, Rebecca (I think) did take my comments very seriously, and she did apologize. I would also like to mention that my husband said he enjoyed his meal (filet) very much. Unfortunately for me, this is the second bad experience I've had at Earth, so I will be rather hesitant to try Earth again. Also, as a side comment I would also say that the lighting is just a tad too dim. If you look at your customer base, I'd guess that the average age is 45-50 which means their eyes aren't as 'sharp' as they used to be; (or maybe that's just me).
