A family run, small Hostel Lux is located in the centre of Kaunas in the city's most popular pedestrian street - Laisvės Alėja, which boasts numerous cafes, shops, bars and restaurants. The Old Town is only a short walk away. The rooms at Hostel Lux feature high ceilings and large windows. There is a table with chairs in each of them and bathroom facilities are shared between two rooms. Free Wi-Fi is also offered. There is a small common kitchen in the hostel where guests can use a refrigerator as well as a kettle for making tea and coffee. In the common room guests can watch TV and a hairdryer and iron are available at the reception. Kaunas train and bus stations are about 1.8 km away and a bus stop is 300 metres from the hostel.
