Guests say
Guests overwhelmingly praised the hotel's unbeatable central location, especially its proximity to major attractions like the Temple of the Tooth and Kandy Lake. The historic building and charming atmosphere were frequently highlighted as unique positives, with many appreciating the nostalgic and elegant decor. Friendly and attentive staff also received repeated commendations for their hospitality. However, several guests noted significant noise from traffic and local festivities, and opinions on cleanliness and maintenance were mixed, with some mentioning dated facilities and occasional cleanliness issues. Overall, the hotel's location, atmosphere, and service stood out as its strongest features.
