The staff is friendly, but helpless and powerless to resolve any issues. They just said 'sorry sorry' all the time and solved no problems.
Booked an expensive private jacuzzi room and jacuzzi was broken. Took two days to change room and no compensation. Second room had issues with air con. Hotel is VERY old and not well-maintained. Construction to the left and right of the property as other competitors are building. Overall, this is not a five star hotel but at best three star - and for that charging $300-400/night in a cheap place like Thailand is bad. Go somewhere else - don't bother ...this is not 'Hyatt standard'. The fact that weather is nice, etc. are not points to give the hotel a high score.
