The price was extremely high for the room. The general position was about 20' from the center of Kalabaka on foot.
Amalia hotel is in a very convenient location whether you want to visit Kalampaka, Trikala and all the region around. Very polite staff.
The rooms are very old without rennovation. Only the bathroom is convinient and very large. There is an awful type of carpet on the floor, filthy and almost disgusting. Yoy don't even want to walk barefoot. Suitable for last minute reservations and only for one day trips. Very poor breaakfast. Definetely too much money for nothing..
The upgrate if the room the friendly staff. Very nice hotel, everything was perfect. Thank you for the upgrade of the room. We will visit this hotel again if we go again in that area....
The parking facility and the size of the room. Nothing else.
Everything in Amalia hotel needs improvement. I do not know how old the hotel is but the interior looks too worn-out. This includes the carpet of the room, the furniture, even the tv had a thick line of destroyed pixels in the middle of the screen. The room telephone was out of order and the tub drain was clogged. The refrigerator of the mini bar was too noisy and the mattresses uncomfortable and hard. The food quality was low too. I had to pay 420 euros for a 3-night stay in a room for 2 adults and a 5-year old child. This price was after the reduction I get as a Genius level 2 member. Worth to notice is that the lady at the reception informed us that they gave us an upgraded room since they had this possibility. I really wonder how bad the ordinary, non-upgraded, room looked like.
It’s good for kids, as the public spaces are big. Breakfast was satisfying.
The hotel is very old. There weren’t double beds, only twins
