Stunning property, fantastic service and a beautiful friendly environment. Highly recommend anyone to stay there. I stay there twice a year.
Liked everything, very friendly staff, pool, loved room 27.
Beautiful pool and hotel grounds. Part of a real royal palace. Friendly staff.
Breakfast was excellent. We also dined at the Dhani restaurant, and the food and service were very good. We could not use the pool because Jodhpur was going through a cold spell and the water was freezing, but the pool area itself was beautiful. The entire property also was very well laid out, quiet and peaceful. The room was well appointed and comfortable. Room service and restaurant staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel also set up a delicious birthday cake, drinks, candles, etc. in the room (I think they got the date from the ID provided at the time of check-in), so that was a nice touch.
The response from the hotel Whatsapp messaging customer service could be much better. The room phone was not working, so we had to rely on this messaging service, and the response was not what was expected from such an expensive hotel. Some services were ridiculously overpriced. I can understand if 5-star services (like the spa or restaurants, for instance) charge a premium, but store-bought packaged snacks and beverages provided in the room and courtesy cab services were at 500-700% of the rates that one could get just outside the premises. A cab between the airport and the hotel would normally be about Rs. 150 if booked on Ola or Uber, whereas the hotel rate was Rs. 850 plus tax, which would amount to almost 1000 rupees for a 10-minute 4 km cab ride. I think these things need to be kept in perspective, and such overpriced rates not charged simply because the place is a 4-star heritage hotel.
It’s so peaceful and beautiful
