Shangdong Litian Hotel

This hotel was amazing! This hotel was such a treat for someone from the Western world like me. Everyday the staff would not only just tidy my room while I was out, but leave free food snacks (big portions too) and gifts out for me (as well as free water). I also was entitled to a free breakfast buffet everyday and it was amazing. So much food from Asian to Western food - It was food heaven. The hotel was also based in a great area. It is just down the road from Jinan railway station. I could conveniently leave the hotel and jump on the train to another Chinese city so easy. Also the hotel is close to a shopping mall, as well surrounded by so many amazing Chinese restaurants and cultural shops. However if you are willing to walk a further 15 minutes out, then the best area to visit is what the locals call the "Kuanhouli pedestrian street" (type that in your maps app). The pictures I show if this review are from around the "Kuanhouli". It is a place full of Chinese food stalls and surrounded by other big shopping mall buildings. It is such a cultural treat for any foreigner. I think this could be the best hotel in Jinan for any foreigner that wants stay and experience the culture of Jinan city.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Can order packed take away breakfast for early trains. Close to Jinan station. Daily snacks .

Breakfast hot food is cold or lukewarm.
